Since we lived in the highest building, we used the funicular to get to the beach (it travels slowly 4 stops 5 minutes, the view is gorgeous), but you can also walk along the winding path on foot. Living creatures live in the garden - large butterflies, birds, squirrels, monkeys. The beach is small but beautiful. The sand is white-gray, flour. On the beach there are always free sun loungers, a swing on the ropes, a bar, massage, a spa center. Only guests of this and the neighboring hotel can get to the beach, because there is a natural barrier on both sides - stones. The sea is shallow, we never reached the depth. In April, the water temperature is over 30 degrees. It hasn't been cold for a single day. It rained 3 times (at night, with a thunderstorm), but it did not stop us. Low tides (not always) began at 12 noon, the sea went 50 meters. Of the living creatures in the water - running crabs, fish (if you're lucky to see), further to the neighboring island - corals. The beach is constantly cleaned (disgracefully carefully, the sand is sifted through a sieve), but unobtrusively. There is no playground for children. You can kayak to the neighboring island. For a change, we went to the nearby Lonely beach by taxi (10 min. ) The breakfasts are very good: meat, fruits, noodles (including glass), something always from Thai cuisine. In general, it can be compared with Turkey, only without baking. dined with fruit (purchased in the village. Approx. 1 kg of pineapple - 35 rubles), dined in the village, always in different restaurants. the rest is wonderful, but I don’t advise with a child - only because of the long road to the hotel (5 hours by car from Bangkok + 40 minutes praom + 20 minutes to the hotel by car). The room is gigantic, on the balcony there was a sun lounger across. There was no such number in Turkish Side 5 stars. One large bed, a sofa, a shower (with transparent walls, a separate bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a sink, lockers, a safe, a wardrobe, clothes). Cleaned every day - excellent. so in all respects a solid 5. All entertainment - in the neighboring village (disco, etc. ). The hotel - silence (after Moscow, that's it! ). In general, there are few people, only Thais came for the weekend. If the sea were deeper and the place was closer, there would be crowds here. Around the hotel you can book any excursions. The cuisine is mediocre, not fresh products, which is most likely due to the low attendance of these restaurants. The most important assessment is the lack of service, i. e. completely incompetent staff. At dinner, we were served a bottle of wine, which turned out to be fermented. The smell of the wine was musty, the taste of the wine sharp. (This happens sometimes and is considered normal. For this, a little wine is always served in a tasting glass. ) We notified the waiter about this and asked to replace the bottle. To which he replied that they no longer have this type of wine in stock. And we made a concession and asked to replace this bottle for us with any friend. To which the waiter replied that their restaurant had run out of wine. . We were disappointed (although we knew it was a lie) as we were looking forward to a nice family evening with wine and steaks. The waiter immediately asked us to pay the bill for wine, to which we tried to convey to him elementary knowledge about serving wine. To which he called the manager. Which turned out to be uneducated, aggressive and inadequate. He said in an unrestrained manner that we are obliged to pay for this spoiled bottle. To all our arguments and proposals, pay only for the glass that we actually tried (we even offered to pay for this wine if one of the staff drinks a glass from this bottle, but apparently they didn’t want to poison themselves), the manager responded with aggression and tried to start a fight : pushing men, grabbing girls by the face. We tried to smooth things over as we had kids with us who were scared by this point. But the "manager" attacked one of us. At that moment, the staff from the kitchen dragged this madman. We arrived in complete shock, paid the bill for dinner (not including the spoiled bottle of wine) and went to the parking lot, where about 20 people of the same "managers" were waiting for us. Who declared that they would not let us out of the territory until we paid for the missing wine. They locked the gate and propped up our cars. We called the police, but the caller did not speak English. In the tourist police, too, no one spoke English. Tel. We did not find the consul. All this went on for 4 hours. After that, a more senior manager of this hotel came, who apparently had at least some idea of u200bu200bserving wine. He tasted the wine and, crouching, said something to his men. Then the gate was opened for us and we were able to leave the hotel. In general, if you are not a fan of fisticuffs, showdowns and negativity, I do not advise you to stay at this hotel.
