The Delux and Superior rooms slightly differ in area in favor of the Delux. Balcony with chairs, clothes dryer. A lot of wood, sometimes creaky parquet and a bed. Shower with bathtub and another "eco-shower" separately with a closed roof. Air conditioning and ceiling fan.
The room has a safe, hairdryer, kettle, TV, refrigerator, coffee, tea. Two bottles of water daily for free. There were no slippers, bathrobes, toothpaste and brushes.
The entrance to the sea at the hotel is terrible, the stones are shallow. But if you go 400 meters to the right, the entry into the sea is very good, without stones. There are high/low tides.
Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice beach. In my opinion a very good hotel to stay.
We liked the hotel. Settled immediately, quickly. Upon arrival, a wet towel and iced tea. The room was on the first floor, with a terrace, the lawn was run across and the pool immediately. They cleaned every day, bed linen every third day. The breakfasts are good - we don’t eat like that at home! If in order, then: var. eggs, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, delicious fried bacon, Thai rice, noodles, pasta, potatoes, stewed chicken or in breadcrumbs, meat, vegetables - cucumber, tomato, green lettuce leaves are different , corn, there were several times sushi, fruits - pineapple, watermelon, pomelo, bananas, very tasty papaya (I understood why they love it so much), various sauces. From drinks - water, milk, tea and coffee, juice (in my opinion, not freshly squeezed, but tasty). Naturally, there are two different types of pastries, croissants (warmed up), toasts. The waiters mark you on the list and immediately pour tea, coffee at will. When you need to pour it, raise your hand. fit right away.
A special delight, these are two pools - one on the beach, the other near the buildings. Pleasantly cool water, which is great in the heat! Evening illumination, very romantic place!
It was a small entertainment - to come from the beach and see what they created from towels, they did not repeat in 16 days!
There is very little entertainment either on the island or in the hotel. Think in advance how you will entertain yourself. We took e-books, movies, embroidery, pumped up solitaire games, story games, and crosswords for my husband.
In the evening we ate in cafes along the beach, in principle, the same everywhere. The difference is in small performances: a soloist with a guitar and lyrical songs, a fire show - boys with torches, two girls sang in our hotel.
The beach is decent, a little small, it takes a long time to enter, but it's because of the river, a little to the right, to the neighboring hotel, the depth is faster there. There are stones in the water, but you can see them, so they don't interfere.
We rented a moped at the hotel, no need to give a passport as a deposit. We went to the waterfall, we swam there. Ride on elephants, I didn’t really like it - it was rocking, but we did it for the sake of photographs. It’s very cool to feed them! After the trip, they give you a watermelon, chopped, cold - nice! We went to the observation deck, filmed the sunset (there are also beautiful sunsets on the beach). We took a kayak from the hotel, swam to the nearest island. We took a walk to two islands from the hotel. Nothing extraordinary, but as a variety you can. They take one - they swim with a mask, they watch fish (there are not many, but there are). They give fruit, water, lemonade and they take them to a small island, where we went canoeing, there are swings made of ropes and you can climb rocks, with on the opposite side - crabs. In principle, nothing, but it fills a lot with a wave of garbage - it’s not pleasant. Since people are being transported, they could clean up. The captain himself does not speak Russian and catches squids in the parking lots. There is another proposal for 5 islands, maybe more fun.
They say there is a disco somewhere - we did not go. You can also shoot at the range. There is no more entertainment.
On the beach you can play tennis, darts, paint a handkerchief or a figurine for 150 baht. Probably, there is a volleyball ball, but no one played with us, so I didn’t remember.
Massage is available on the beach and by the pool, and in the SPA Center. They did it on the beach not at our hotel, it’s cheaper there, but it’s better to take your own towel or sheet with you, otherwise, as it turned out, there is one for everyone!
Table tennis near the pool (we played there in the evening).
Very beautiful area. There are fish in the river that is around the bungalow, of course, everyone was fed. There are fish in the pond and near the SPA Center.
In general, they were satisfied, because. and I wanted to relax in the form of "lazy cats" !! !
The room is large and spacious. Huge bed, sofa bed, armchair with footstool, coffee and writing table, TV, DVD, refrigerator. There is a bath and a shower (separate from the toilet). Cleaning and change of bed and towels was daily. Every time, returning from the beach, we found towel figurines decorated with flowers on the bed (regardless of whether you leave a tip or not)
There are 2 swimming pools on the territory - a smaller one near the beach and a large one near the SPA. SPA is a completely separate issue. Be sure to visit it. I have no words to describe all the emotions! ! Wonderful procedures, after which you feel reborn. I was on an aroma massage, did a body scrub, aloe wrap (good after a long stay in the sun), foot massage, pedicure. Service at the highest level! For the first time it is better to go together, because. 50% discount on the entire price! Prices including discounts - aroma massage 750, pedicure - 350, scrub + body wrap - 1100.
Nutrition. Breakfast - buffet. The menu is varied. Both vegetarian and meat; and Thai, and European, and Japanese. Loved the salad dressings. The menu is updated daily by 30%. Those. every day - croutons, toast, butter, omelettes, pancakes, ham, bacon, sausages, cheese, jams, drinks, vegetables / fruits, etc. , etc. , and hot dishes changed EVERY day. Since we had a small child with us (it was inconvenient to go somewhere every day), we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant (once we visited the Russian restaurant Yo-MOYO....and were far from delighted. Expensive, tasteless... ). So, about the hotel restaurant. The price tag, of course, is a little higher than just in a cafe. But close by. Prepare European, Japanese, Italian and Thai dishes. I really liked the shrimp in tamarind sauce - yummy (shrimp-160bat, rice - 20, a glass of juice -90, bottled water-40, tea - 50, hot noodles with broth - 180, pasta - 180, pizza - 160, meat steak 350 -700.2 chicken sandwiches - 160, alcoholic cocktails from 170. Some dishes were huge portions for two, some for one).
Beach. The hotel has its own beach, there are no outsiders, if only vacationers from neighboring hotels (which were also very few). But you can just as well walk along the shore to their territory. Low tides are strong in the morning. Tide in the evening. Entrance to the sea in corals. For me personally, this is not a problem. I don't consider this a disadvantage. Moreover, all the beaches of Koh Chang "suffer" from this. The sea and the beach are clean. True, there is no azure blue water. For this, you need to go on a tour of 5 islands (which I did and recommend to everyone). Plenty of sun loungers, they weren't booked in advance. Beach towels by the pool. There are 2 hammocks and a swing by the water. In the morning, merchants of jewelry and souvenirs walk along the beach. Smiling and unobtrusive. Reduce the price immediately by half, then agree.
About vacationers. There were very few people. Basically, these are Thais and Germans themselves, there are practically no Russians (which is what I wanted).
Hotel staff. Attentive and polite. English is spoken at the reception and in the restaurant. Just say everything clearly and slowly (better than 2 times)))
Infrastructure around the hotel. From the hotel there are 2 roads to the main. If you go to the right, then go out to the elephant farm (the cost of 1 hour excursion = 500 baht) and to the shops. On the left, the road will lead to cafes, shops, where there is everything you need, incl. 7/11, all kinds of shops, bike rentals, a bank. But the main shopping is best done on White Sand beach. To get to which by tuk-tuk 50 baht per person. To the fishing village of Bang Bao take 100. If you order a taxi at the hotel, it will cost 450 baht per car.
I also wanted to note that when we arrived at the hotel, they apologized to us and, due to some reasons, they offered to live in the neighboring Barali Resort & Spa 4 * hotel for the first 2 days. They took it there. As a token of apology - a free dinner or spa visit. This hotel is excellent too. I don't even know which one is better. Both liked it.
My conclusion is that the hotel is suitable for those who want a romantic, calm, comfortable, relaxing holiday. Probably not suitable for lovers of noisy parties.
The only thing I didn't like about the island was the sea. Pay attention to this moment. We were personally very upset by this. The sea is shallow. To go waist-deep 200-300 meters, you have to wander through the shallows, stepping on all sorts of stones and corals. By the time you get there, you don't feel like swimming. Due to the shallow water in the sea is very hot, even disgusting to swim. It's hot outside, I want to cool down, but it wasn't there. And don't believe the photos of the blue lagoons. You definitely won't see it there. The sea is muddy, there is no life except for crabs. The truth is only in the palm trees on the shore. In general, we swam mostly in the besein. The only pity is that we traveled so far because of the besein with bleach.
