Help plan tours...!
We will only be in Bangkok for 2 nights. We arrive on October 6 at about 10 hours and leave the hotel on October 8 in the morning in Pattaya. In Bangkok, we stay at the ARNOMA 4 * hotel, located opposite Central World, across the road. We are going to Thailand for the first time and we are going on our own, i.e. we are not attached to any group of tourists and walk on our own! And we don’t know where to walk and how to get there! We need your help, PLEASE! approximate plan .... first day - oceanarium, shopping, bike sky tower. the second day - the royal palace, the temple of the emerald Buddha, Wat Po temple with the figure of the Reclining Buddha. Well, something like that! I'm not an expert ... if something is wrong, correct me ... I'm only FOR!
And in general, give practical advice regarding Bangkok .... where to go!

Your hotel is practically within walking distance of Lumpini Park, a large beautiful city park. Take a map of the city and a business card of the hotel at the reception (if you get lost, show the taxi driver and they will bring you to the hotel), from the park you can take the metro or taxi to Siam Paragon (oceanarium on -1 floor) next to the escalator leading to the oceanarium there is a counter where you can make a deposit and you will be given a card with which you pay in a cafe, you will see there around 15-20 of them, then the rest of the money will be returned at the counter in exchange for a card. Behind the cafe there is a large market, shops on the upper floors. At the aquarium, take a ticket without boating (the boat is a waste of money and time).
After that, you can get to Baiyoke Sky by any taxi or tuk tuk for 150 baht, try to get there by 17:30 and see the sunset from the tower, it’s very beautiful (by the way, a free shake in the bar on the floor below is included in the ticket price). Near Baiyoke Sky there is a market and cafes that are open until night.
You have to go to the temples very early, 7:30-8:00, clothes should cover your shoulders and knees. The Royal Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha are located on the same territory, lying within walking distance, the temple of gold next to it.

From the Royal Palace you can walk 5 minutes to the river and see the Temple of Dawn on the other side, if you have time you can get there by boat.
Or take a boat 1 or 2 stops to Chinatown and take a walk there. The boat ride costs 25 baht no matter how many stops you make.

an employee did not let his wife in trousers into one of the temples. We solved the problem with a skirt - admission is free.

Please add about the subway. There are ticket machines there, first you need to select the zone in which the station you need is located, and then the station itself, the price depends on the distance, by ticket (or token, depending on the branch) they not only enter the metro but also exit, so don't lose. After passing the turnstile, carefully figure out which platform you need to get off, otherwise you can go in the wrong direction)))) but a trip on the surface metro that rushes over the streets between the houses is an excursion in itself.)))

I read on the Internet about the Chutachak market, which takes place there on weekends .... but I still don’t understand how to get to it ... can you tell me!? And is it really worth it? what is the range of the market?

Minsk please, I hope you have time to see everything and get a lot of impressions.)))
Chatuchak is certainly worth it, but it takes a lot of time to visit it, the market is very large, at the main entrance you can take a map of the market at the information desk. This makes it easier to figure out where you want to go and what sections you need. All sections of the market have their own specifics. In the center of the market, the clock tower is the only place that everyone knows for sure, it is better to meet here if you get lost. The market is open on weekends from 9 to 18, it is better to go in the morning, there are fewer people.
Take the Skytrain (ground metro) to the Morchit station, and then get off and follow the crowd for 300 meters.
You can also take the underground metro to Kamphaeng Phet or Chatuchak Park stops. One of the exits will lead you straight to the market. Of course, you can also take a taxi.

Minsk if you stay for another day in Bangkok, you will definitely have time to see everything and wander around the market and skimp, there will be no such prices in Pattaya.

Lina23S THANKS! Somehow I didn’t immediately think that 2 nights would not be enough ... but now when I began to draw up an action plan ... I understand LITTLE! Let's choose something!

Yes, there are a lot of interesting things in Bangkok, I haven’t seen everything myself yet, I’m planning the museums of Erawan and royal boats.

Yes, judging by the volume .... we definitely won’t see everything! It's a pity! :-( Thanks for the link in the mail! Very useful info!

Minsk, it is simply impossible to see everything interesting in this country in one two-week trip, but this is a wonderful reason to return there again.)))) And the info will help you plan what to see on what trip.)))

As always..... THANK YOU!!!! ;-)
