We stayed at the hotel for a day on the way home from the island, we had not been to Bangkok for eight years, but we remembered the hotel as the most pleasant of those in which we found ourselves. Another conversation is that over the years it began to slowly deteriorate, but its location in relation to the road to the airport, from the city, is very successful, traffic jams were avoided.
The rooms are two-room, three very comfortable beds, there is even a chair-bed for the fourth, but this is more likely for a child, there is air conditioning and a TV in each room, the bathroom is in perfect order. Everything is clean, comfortable, smells nice, even though the room is for smokers. There are cups, glasses, a kettle and coffee-tea-sugar bags. Refrigerator with mini-bar at unpleasant prices, for the lock to the safe they asked for a deposit of 500 baht, for the room 100 "evergreen".
We settled on the twenty-fourth floor. At one time, we were lucky, there was an opening door to the fire escape, this time my husband took out a multitool from his suitcase and opened the lock on the balcony door. The dirt there is terrible, of course, but no one washes the floor, it was not calculated for such “violators” like us to go out only in shoes. But you can breathe real warm Bangkok air and take pictures of the surroundings not through dirty glass! And the surroundings have noticeably changed, the pedestrian viaduct has lengthened, the electronics store has disappeared somewhere and the thickets of skyscrapers have become much thicker.

On the eleventh floor, the pool, in which we soaked after a seven-hour journey in a minibus, is open from seven in the morning until, it seems, eight in the evening, there is a gym nearby - neither one nor the other is in demand, no hype has been noticed. Moreover, it seemed that only Russian speakers were splashing in the pool, as many as three people met in a day besides us.
Around these three hotels - Bayok-Syut, Baiyok-Sky and Indra, the market boils all the time, clothes are in fierce quantities, but it was not possible to buy pineapple with mango to take home, but you can already eat native food with more comfort than before, by going to across the road on a footbridge towards the store "Platinum", the ubiquitous "7-11" next to the hotel is also available.
What disappointed us was the breakfast! The dining room is located on the forty-second floor, a buffet - you run around the ring, choosing what to eat, where to sit with a pleasant view from the window (panoramic windows), and if you still have time for sunrise (about half past six), then admire the red sun rising from the brush of skyscrapers. Having made a circle along the tables with saucepans, I sadly realized that there was nothing special, salads and rice. Then a quietly boiling husband rushed to the table, spoiled by breakfasts at a hotel on Koh Chang, said that the only source of protein is scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs, he said everything that he thinks about vegetarian food (brutal predator : )), but the sad thing is that it wasn't tasty! Judging by the people in the morning, the hotel is popular with the Chinese and Indians, although this impression can be formed about many hotels. Around the dining room there is an open area from which you can look at the surroundings and breathe in the morning unconditioned air.
