Rested this year in Slovakia (Strbske pleso) at the Hotel Patria 4 *.
I do not know where to start, I want to tell a lot, but I'll try briefly)))
I'll probably start with the ski slopes. We were lucky with the weather, it was sunny and a few days of snow (there was fog for 2 days, then we made ourselves a day off)
At once about the main thing ...there is a snack where, both below and above, there are no storage chambers (there are in Tatranska Lomnica), so take backpacks.
And yes, the lifts are open from 8.30, we arrived at 9.00, I advise you to come earlier, because there are less people, it was good to ride until 12, but after….
too many people and ice on the slopes, then bad. ) To study in Strbskoe is a small hill, there is no place to study, we went to Tatranska Lomnica for one day, there is usually a gentle mountain just for beginners, but there are even more people and after 10 am solid ice. small. In Lomnica, snow only on the slopes, and in Strbsky Pleso, of course, beauty, real winter.
The closest to the lifts hotel Fiz 3 *, 30 meters for sure. It is also close to Patrii, the Ski Bus goes to the mountain every 10 minutes. Back from the mountain you can ski (it's 3 minutes). About prices: skis for rent from 9 euros per day, Skipas per day 21 euros, for 6 days 90 euros.
(There are 30% discounts on hotels) In general, the longer you take, the greater the discount, as well as the instructor the more the cheaper, an average of 40 euros per day (4 hours).
All staff speak Russian, so there are no problems with this, I really liked the wellness, saunas to your taste (and herbs, and Finnish, salt, eucalyptus, ice, tepidarium ..... ) Jacuzzi, swimming pool, all for you) ). There is billiards and bowling runs until midnight (Sun and Mon). Entertainment is no more hotel at 22.00 is already "asleep" and there is no nightlife, peace and quiet)
Cuisine: we only had breakfast and I advise you to take them only, because breakfast, lunch and dinner are almost the same.
Breakfasts are the same as everywhere not tasty nipples, not clear salads, I just liked slicing and buns. And the menu is usually super, everything is very tasty, especially chicken. We also went to dinner in the hut Patria, very cozy, good service and just as delicious))
And ...probably about the cons, there are two:
1st - in the hotel you can not smoke, only on the street, and for example from the 8th floor is not very cool to go down every hour.
2nd - very bad soundproofing in the room, you can hear everything ...we also had the room next to the stairs (children like horses, sorry) and the elevator, when this sound "comes" - PIM-PIM at 7 am (very fun), But gets used to it.
Well, a few words about our Ukrainians, the medical company (Actavis) came to the Patria Hotel, I was honestly ashamed of them, now I understand why we are not so loved abroad, they are wild. . it seems that they did not eat or drink for three years.
Watched one girl herself 150cm, 45kg weight, and gaining food as a man kg120 (three plates gained and still running to take more-FREE), it was funny. and constantly heard "Girls, do not rush enough for everyone! ! ! »))) When they brought fruit, 20 people immediately ran into them, in general… mda….
When I read reviews about hotels, many wrote "I'll be back here again!
", I did not understand what it makes sense to go to the same place again, but now I say myself" I'll be back here again! ", I really liked it))))
