I liked the hotel itself with its convenient location - near the train stop, where you can get to Poprad (water park) and other resorts for skiing.
I especially remember the local resident at the reception - the dog Charlie, who, as I understand it, is the symbol and mascot of the hotel)) It seems like a trifle, but it creates the impression of comfort)) He greets guests, does not bark, but rather allows himself to be stroked and welcomes everyone)
The rooms are large, brand new, with a kitchen.
There is a good spa.
You will need to ride to the ski lift, but this is not a problem - there is a ski bus.
Just returned from Strebsky Ples (Slovakia). We stayed at the Crocus Hotel (4*). We lived in apartments, in the room: a living room and a bedroom, a dressing room, a kitchenette, a bathroom and a separate bathroom. Everything is brand new, clean, very neat, the room has everything you need, except that there are no bathrobes and slippers for complete happiness; I was also embarrassed by the lack of wireless Internet in the rooms, they offer to connect via a cord, but I didn’t bring a netbook with me and you can’t plug a cord into the iPad : (. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, sink, work desk, small bar a set of dishes for 6 persons (everything from glasses to pots with a frying pan) The hotel has a restaurant (a standard canteen for buffet tables), a bar (not bad), a shop (delicious gingerbread : ))), equipment rental (I recommend using it, because . cheaper than on the mountain and the person is very adequate), poor wellness (sauna, infrared sauna, hot tub), offer massages. The hotel is located right next to the train stop, from the hotel there is a ski bus to the ski lifts every 10 minutes (this is valuable since the distance is one and a half kilometers). Around at a distance of up to 200 meters there are about five restaurants-cafes where you can eat for every taste and budget. Special thanks to Eva, Josef and their children (a family that rents a hut between the town and the slopes, I think it's called "On Janovaya Polyana") for the excellent cuisine, instant service and friendly atmosphere. Good luck guys! You are the best!
Briefly about the hotel - new, well maintained, comfortable, service - sucks and bullshit! It is simply not there: cleaning in the rooms consists in making the beds and changing the towels, regardless of the number of tips left : ) the receptionist lives by the principle - "frost saved me more than once" : ), they came to the wellness - they were not cleaned after the previous visitors.
About the resort: if you want something else besides rides - you don’t come here - at 22.00 it (the resort) simply dies out, the slides are interesting, but not for beginners, the kids liked the fan park where you can ride in the snow on inflatable "buns" from the hill and climb it not on foot, but on a special yoke. I recommend a ride to Tatranska Lomnica (an hour by train) - the slides are friendlier, the town is more fun, the ski lifts are fresher.
You can go to Poprad (an hour by train) in AquaCity to splash in the outdoor pools.
About the country: people are friendly, there is no language barrier - the language is very close to both Russian and Ukrainian.
Actually everything. Have a nice holiday!
