The decision to visit Slovakia matured a very long time ago. My husband wanted to visit the capital of Slovakia, because of most of the capitals of Western Europe, we visited almost all, except Bratislava. After the New Year, we were going to make this trip when we saw that the Aironix airline was opening a direct flight Kyiv-Bratislava. This fact made us very happy, because we didn’t really want to go by train, or even by bus. Plus, in early January, it became known that the Consulate of Slovakia began the practice of issuing tourist multivisas, and we decided to combine business with pleasure. I will not describe the process of obtaining a visa, I will only say that we were lucky to some extent. The hotel in Bratislava was Virgo Residence, which we really liked for its location (200 meters from the old town, 1 km from the train station) and facilities (excellent rooms, cleaning, staff). We flew for 3 days, for which we planned to embrace the immensity - to explore Bratislava, go to the village of Senec to the tiger nursery, see the castle in the city of Trencin and go to Graz. All points of the program were completed. On the first day we walked around the capital, seeing the main sights, the only negative is the weather (it was cold and drizzling). We liked Bratislava - a very beautiful old town, a lot of funny sculptures and the absence of crowds of tourists. I also liked cafes and restaurants with excellent cuisine and friendly staff. In general, people in Bratislava are very responsive and always ready to help. On the second day, we went to a tiger nursery near the city of Senec - 22 tigers and a couple of lions live there, all animals are very well-groomed and beautiful, and if you bring whipped cream, they will show you a show - they really love this delicacy. The trip to Graz on the last day was very tiring, because we had to change two trains and two stations, but the logistics turned out to be accurate and we managed to see everything everywhere. Impressions of Slovakia remained excellent, I think we will return there in winter for a holiday in the mountains and skiing.
