The room itself could only be reproached for one thing - when the ceiling was painted, the wallpaper was smeared and it looked somewhat sloppy. Everything else was impeccable - furniture, cosmetics, bathrobes and slippers. There was even a razor. Large balcony with wicker furniture. And the view! For the sake of that view, everything could be forgiven) And even in advance)
We stopped there on the way from Indonesia to Kyiv, planned to visit the zoo and night safari, and relax by the pool in the morning. There was not much time, so we called a taxi at the reception, but there is a free hotel bus to the metro. Zoo near the hotel. Traveling by bus, then by metro, then again by bus would not be much cheaper and much longer.
There is a shop and an ATM on site.
The area where the guest can walk is rather small - 3 swimming pools pressed against the building, but behind them is a chic well-groomed territory of the golf club to the reservoir itself. Surely golfers living in the hotel play there, but for a fee. We felt like strangers at this celebration of life - the territory is fenced off either with a net, or more humanely - with a small moat with water and bushes. Approximately the same humanely fenced animals in the Singapore Zoo) It is clear that the hotel with the name Country Club should have prompted me to think, but the photos were so wonderful! And the price bribed. As a result, they were disappointed with the inability to approach the water.
Although, I repeat, the eye rejoiced at the views. And the number and quality of the pools will please even the most demanding bather) One is a sports pool, there were classes and we didn’t swim in it, the second is for children, the most beautiful, with a grotto, a slide and even a fountain, quite small, there were a couple of kids in it, and third, just the pool was completely empty, and we basked in it until the very departure.
Would I visit it again? With such initial data, one night in Singapore, before a long flight, without pretending to be close to the center, yes. Would recommend it for first time visitors to Singapore? No.
