When I was just starting out as a researcher of Stockholm, and listening more than talking, one day I came across information about a wonderful shop from which you can see the whole of Stockholm at a glance. The idea was thrown to the masses with a call for its implementation without any special guidelines. An inquisitive mind did not give rest, and at the first landing in the city, I went in search of the promised landscape gallery. I found her. I don't remember how, but I found it. I took pictures, called friends and shared the joy of success, reveled in Sprite and the beauty of Stockholm. Years have passed. I somehow forgot about the site and could no longer clearly draw a map “how to get to the library” in my mind. There was no desire, and no time to rediscover what was open. But today, during a tour of the island of Sodermalm, even on the way, I began to recognize the contours and outlines of familiar streets. The view arena has been rediscovered and will now remain the best example of the “free view from above Stockholm” forever. Well, so that the information does not go into existence, I decided to share it with you. It may seem that I am confidently fixated on this place and trying to instill in it an "international" meaning. . I will not insist that this is a real must see and topic number 1, which is being discussed. But if you get here, you will understand everything yourself. So how do you get there. The area we are going to talk about is located between Soder Malastrand boulevard and Hornsgatan avenue on the island of Sodermalm. In addition to being a chic old district of the city in itself, it also serves as a repository of a trodden path to the open expanses of Stockholm. Narrowing the search circle, we will stop on Bastugatan street, from which access to the observation deck will take place. And now what I did not know before and was glad to know today. It turns out that this is not just an observation deck, but an observation street that runs along the entire cliff and is well equipped for walking, as well as gatherings through benches with tables. Therefore, access to it is not in one place, but throughout the entire mentioned street. This is exactly the place where it's just great to tweet with friends, eat your dry lunch, quench your thirst under the best living scenery of Stockholm, and, well, please all those who are dear to us with a romantic atmosphere. . The wooden platform is surrounded by greenery and can accommodate, in my diamond-shaped eye, up to 1000 eyewitnesses. Although, during the naval parade, which takes place in Sevastopol every summer, the number of people who fit in could easily be in the thousands. But, to my joy and surprise, the number of applicants here rarely pulls even a few dozen. Which, you must agree, is very secluded. By the way, along the route of the "lookout street" in one place there is an opportunity to go down.
