Everything happened literally on the second day after our arrival. At four in the morning, when we were sleeping, the villa ...suddenly collapsed on our heads! The luxurious bungalow instantly fell apart into pieces of concrete and wood. Part of the concrete roof, falling, demolished a 100-kilogram door, flew into the room and fell onto the bed where we slept. A heavy beam fell a centimeter from my wife's head. If it weren’t for the console standing at the head, the wife would no longer be alive, her head would simply be flattened. Imagine a picture: night - and then everything collapses, the wires are torn, the children are screaming ...Then my son stuttered for six months.
And at that moment there was no storm, no wind, no rain on the island. That is, the walls and ceiling of the most luxurious hotel in the Seychelles collapsed ...just like that! Probably from wear and tear (when the fallen beams were examined, it turned out that the wood had rotted in places).
We called the doctors and the general manager of the hotel, who at first did not even want to go because it was too early. But when the manager nevertheless arrived, he almost burst into tears. The hotel administration started running, got worried, promised to relocate dear guests and pay them a penalty. But until now, our family has not received a penny!
We hired a lawyer, collected the necessary documents, but so far we have not been able to achieve any compensation. Representatives of the Russian company World adventures, which sold us the tour, said that it was the hotel's fault. Like, let him pay. The hotel is owned by a South African company. But according to the laws of this country, the court was appointed as much as 2011! The trouble is that absolutely all the villas in this hotel are designed in such a way that they can collapse at any moment.
PS In all ratings, the hotel is considered the best in the Seychelles.
The hotel is located on a separate island and consists of only 11 comfortable villas, located among coconut trees and lush tropical greenery, on a secluded white sand beach.

I posted a more detailed report with a photo in the "Stories of tourists. Seychelles".
