I want to warn people who suffer from allergies: ambrosia blooms in August, many women with whom I talked in a sanatorium (and I also) had redness on their eyelids, their eyes were swollen, itchy. Although I am not allergic. Doctors said that this is for ambrosia . Of the minuses, too much diet food can be noted: every day carrots and beets. Dishes were broken, soap was diluted with water.
Mineral water should be drunk only from the source (it is not recommended to collect it in bottles), otherwise the entire therapeutic effect is lost, but the source is far enough from the sanatorium and you need to walk all the time uphill and along many steps. You can go a short way, but you need to know it, otherwise you will go in a completely different direction. It is better to buy a guide with a diagram.
Fruits are more expensive than we have in Siberia, and the quality is practically the same. Souvenirs are relatively inexpensive, the cheapest in Kislovodsk.
Large selection of excursions. If you want to go to Kislovodsk, it is better to choose "Kislovodsk extensive".
The sanatorium has a free cinema, there is a shop for industrial and food products, which is very convenient. A very decent hairdresser works, the prices are moderate.
The rooms are decent in building 2 and on the floors where repairs have already been made, in building 1. Several times there were interruptions in water (turned off for an hour). Near the sanatorium there is a very beautiful decorative lake, in which I do not recommend swimming. You can ride a boat or a catamaran ( 150 rubles per hour).
It is better to take a taxi from the railway station or airport: it is faster, more comfortable and the prices are low. From Minvod to Zheleznovodsk it is only 25-30 minutes drive.
Every Monday at 2 pm at the Lenin monument there are free tours around Zheleznovodsk.
Overall a pleasant stay and good treatment.
