I read the reviews of the previous "speaker" and here's what I'll write: my company sent me on a business trip to Yaroslavl and booked a regular single room at the Bear Corner. So, I didn’t see anything like that liar described. Why lie so tactlessly to everyone about a hotel where everyone smiles at you and tries to make your stay comfortable.

The room is not new, but immaculately clean, the bedding is new, a good set of personal hygiene products, and so on. Some pluses. The restaurant served a very tasty breakfast. Before leaving for the city, the administrator girls allowed me to take a huge handful of sweets from the counter. In general, everything there is decent and soundly.

Located in the city center, not far from Volkov Square. The rooms have a light redecoration, one might say barely noticeable. The furniture is partly new, partly old. The bathroom has not seen an update since Soviet times. Internet with cards for a fee. Breakfast to choose from several options a la "Dining Room".

The staff is good, friendly.
Overall ok considering the price of the room.
We ourselves stayed during the celebrations on the occasion of the anniversary of the city and there were simply no places in other hotels.

Was in a hotel at the 1000s of Yaroslavl. And how it was.....My friend stayed in the "Family" room, who came from St. Petersburg specially for the anniversary and was in Yaroslavl for the first time. . . I also came from Moscow, although I was born in Yaroslavl. We walked around the city, and showed him the sights and briefly talked about Yaroslavl.

At two o'clock in the morning we decided to continue our conversation in his room (before that, I had not seen my friend since the spring, and then when I was in St. Petersburg myself).
We came to the hotel, we were met by a woman in sports / home clothes, who got up disheveled from the couch that was in the room with transparent windows near the entrance... She stops me and says that the time for visiting is until 23.00 and I can’t get into the room.
To my question why? She replies that I am registered in Zavolga and I have to go there!!!
The room was for a couple and when booking my friend was told that there could be two people there and he ordered it.
A real skirmish began, like in a market! A woman in a dressing gown threatened to call the police if I even said a word to her, commanded the woman at the reception not to check me in! She said that I was drunk, although it was a holiday and I really drank a little! She threatened to involve video surveillance with sound recording!
She hinted obscenely that two guys should not be in the same room, that the room is family and there can only be a guy and a girl!
At the reception, the woman did not try to do anything, but simply remained silent! For some reason, she told me that there was an incorrect booking and asked to pay everything at once, when there were agreements, that payment upon departure... With a hint of nat that you either pay, or goodbye!
We paid for everything and then they let us through!
In general, the impression of the anniversary was spoiled by all this!
Rudeness on rudeness! I believe that I am a GUEST and will not tolerate being rude and threatened by disheveled women in a dressing gown for my money!
The room was clean! The restroom is terrible, did not inspire confidence in sanitation!
All this is especially in contrast to the place where I work!
Was there from September 11 to 12.2010.
