We were there a week ago (August 2008), the hotel left very pleasant memories regarding its location (pine forest, excellent Volga Bay), warm and QUIET environment (at the time when we were there, the hotel could be called a FAMILY - many couples, some even with mothers-in-law, a cloud of pregnant women, a minimum of young people and heavy drinkers), cleanliness in the rooms and on the territory, the quality of the attendants (all 33 water pleasures, the beach, clean water, elementary sports entertainment).
It is impossible not to note the work of animators, especially for children, I think the kids were very pleased with them, the guys also tried, but mostly for the adult population, for which I thank them.
I think that this is the price / quality ratio for a good holiday in the suburbs.

THE MAIN MINUS is the FOOD (which is limited only by the territory of the hotel - the "restaurant" ?? ? Itil, the Nautilus bar and... a summer cafe), behind the fence directly the village of Emmaus without food and a forest in which there were a lot of mushrooms.
There is an abundance of buffet for breakfast and lunch, of course you can choose something EDIBLE, but alas, you have to dig. Dinner at own expense (no, I don't mind paying for really high quality and tasty food), BUT.......
The menu is very small and I thought that if it is so small, then everything is very tasty - you won’t look at salads without tears, I was especially impressed by “Kutuzov” (offered weight is about 70-80 grams, this is a folded log house 7x7x5 cm without exaggeration ! ! from cucumbers, peppers of different colors and potatoes with a spoonful of mushrooms inside and some kind of sauce - kopets, I have never seen or eaten worse salad in my life. Of the variety of meat dishes, I found only one tasty one - veal medallions, which we regularly ate the last days of our stay there - you can safely order. There is barbecue, sturgeon - like nothing, I didn’t like pork, if you want barbecue, bring it with you charcoal and fire starting fluid).
In general, I won’t load any more, all of the above IMHO, and perhaps with a complete revision of the administration’s view of the restaurant as such (and this is hardly possible), I would gladly come there again, but only in this case.
