Negative review about the Grumant park-hotel (Tula region). In May, we booked a room for the end of June - the beginning of July 2013 (for 10 days). At the same time, two weeks before arrival, we specifically called the hotel, we confirmed the reservation, and everything was fine until 2 days before arrival (on Friday evening, i. e. on the last working day before vacation), the hotel administrator suddenly called us and did not say that for some “technical reasons” (the reasons were not specified) the hotel could not provide us with our already booked room (and none at all) from the 5th to the 8th day of our intended stay there. Sorry they say, but we can’t help, 4 days out of 10 live where you want, but not with us !! ! We were not offered any alternatives. A vacation planned more than a month and a half in advance - down the drain! We don’t know what exactly happened to them (maybe a corporate party, a wedding, or really something “technical”), but you can’t do THIS with clients!
