Pros:
own canteen with good inexpensive food;
round the clock hot water;
swimming pool and playground for children;
booked according to the principle closest to the mud source. They worried in vain, because You can easily get there by car from anywhere in Kuchugur.
Minuses:
The rooms are very small. A two-room suite is a one-room apartment with three (two rooms and a toilet) tiny rooms. Four people can't live there. The site says that the room is 24 square meters. m. - cunning! Maximum 15 meters, not 24 as indicated!
The walls are thin, you can hear everything day and night. It feels like we live on the street.
Later we realized that instead of a four-bed two-room apartment (as indicated on the website), they allegedly sold us a triple one with an extra bed. It turned out more expensive.
They smoke right at the building (at the main entrance to the territory of the base). They asked to remove the smoking room so as not to poison the children. To no avail. Young people gather on these same benches at night. Until you disperse they will not leave. The guards are for show only.
At 6:30 in the morning, loud-speaking coaches drive the kids out of the camp to exercise. and this is despite the daily routine (before 9 am do not make noise).
There is nowhere to dry things. I had to take chairs outside and hang clothes there.
There is no 24/7 reception desk. At night it is impossible to solve a single urgent issue. We forgot to put an extra pillow for the younger one. I had to wait until morning. I have never seen this (lack of administrator) in any hotel, especially where so many people live.

The recreation center "Golubaya Bukhta" is located on the edge of the village on Kubanskaya street. The territory of the base was spread on both sides of the country road.
On one side are located: the administration building, a canteen, a pizzeria, residential buildings and utility rooms. Opposite, on the other side of the road, there are four residential buildings, a playground, a summer cafe.
We lived on the side where the administration is. Number - standard triple two-room. The cost per day was 1540 rubles, taking into account the discount for two children. The initial amount is 1650 rubles.
At the base are always only their own. Each guest who checks in is put on a bracelet, according to which the guards will recognize it as their own or someone else's.
Number:
- windows - double-glazed windows with mosquito net;
- entrance door - double-glazed window;
- in the hallway there is a refrigerator, TV and a wardrobe;
- in the room - one double bed and one single bed, three bedside tables and a floor fan (I deliberately took a room without air conditioning, because it is still not very hot in June, and I am very afraid of adjusting the temperature incorrectly and catching a cold for children). I want to draw your attention to the fact that the bed frames and mattresses are of high quality, new. Sheets on elastic bands, do not go astray. The room has wool blankets;
- in the bathroom - a toilet bowl, a sink with a curbstone, a shower. In the shower there is a shelf for shampoos, etc. You can also stuff all sorts of things into the cabinet under the sink. There is also a basin for washing clothes, a broom, a scoop, a floor cloth.
The only thing that may be missing in the room is nightlights, only an overhead light is provided. But I take an LED table lamp with me on trips, which is charged from a wall outlet. Charging is enough for me for 3-4 pm for 2-3 hours of work.
Be sure to take a fumigator, because sometimes mosquitoes really go berserk.
It is strictly forbidden to use heating devices in the rooms (a fine of 5000 rubles), so a thermos will be useful.
During the day (from 8.00 to 20.00, a break from 15.00 to 16.30) you can take boiling water in the dining room. The rest of the time you need to contact the guards (booth at the gate). They have a big pot of boiling water and a microwave.
In our room the sun was in the morning (windows towards the sea), in the rooms, where the windows towards the fields, the sun stayed in the evening.
Base
The base consists of two-story buildings with long, full-floor balconies. Stairs to the second floor are located on the sides of the buildings. Each room has a separate entrance from a shared balcony.
The paths between the buildings are lined with slabs. Trees and wild grapes (ivy? ) are planted along the walls. Curls around the corners of some buildings. A lot of roses. Colorful, fragrant and prickly! In the evening, decorative lighting of trees and spotlights directed to the site are turned on.
The playground has slides, swings, sandboxes with toys (buckets, scoops, molds). There are many benches and tables around the site. There is a playground for volleyball (pioneerball) with a net. There is sand under your feet, so you can play barefoot. A table tennis table has been installed (racquets for rent at the reception).
Wet football is provided for children. Large inflatable field with gates. They play in a small amount of water, approximately ankle-deep.
Before our departure, they assembled a large frame pool. There is also an inflatable slide with access to a small pool.
In the administration you can rent balls, rackets, board games.
An animator has been working on the playground since the middle of the day. Teaches to sculpt, paint, weave; plays board games.
With the Internet on the base is not very good yet, wi-fi is apparently in the project. Mobile internet is intermittent.
Beach
Near the base (we walked slowly, 7-10 minutes) there is a beach. It is not equipped with changing cabins or toilets - wild! But in principle, we didn’t need it, because we dressed in swimsuits right in the room. In general, the beach in Kuchugury is a sandy strip, about 20 (+/- 10) meters wide, nowhere blocked, stretching along the entire coast.
If you want an active holiday, then there is entertainment on the village beach: slides, bananas, boats, parachutes, jet skis. Near the base there is only sand, sea and sun. And few people! The sea is almost always worried, when it is stronger or weaker, but the waves are constant. The children were delighted!
At the stairs to the beach there is a stall with various drinks and snacks.
Food
Canteen at the base
As always in canteens: something is tasty, but something is not very good. It all depends on the taste preferences of the person. In general, there is a choice and you can always find something for yourself. The children enjoyed eating porridge for breakfast (I bought it to take away for breakfast on the balcony). There are also ice cream fridges!
Pizzeria on base
Really delicious pizza. We got hooked on pepperoni. Tried meat - also delicious. And, of course, 4 cheeses! Wine and this pizza - divine! Delicious chicken cutlet (from the children's menu) and rustic potatoes.
Cafe "Teremok" near the base
Good selection of food and attentive waitress Alena. I really liked the baked zucchini (zucchini, tomatoes, garlic and cheese). Very tasty loin on the bone, cooked on the grill. The children liked borsch, vermicelli soup, cranberry juice (we liked blackcurrant juice to a much lesser extent), pancakes with condensed milk and pasta with sausages (I thought we could do without this dish on vacation, but it didn’t work out).
Catering in the village
We ate at Natasha's canteen several times. Delicious mashed potatoes, meatballs and fried chicken. Good selection of pastries and cakes.
On the day of departure, I came across a cafe (with the possibility of food delivery! ) OLIVA'S. I ordered chicken tobacco and skewers with new potatoes on the train - very, very tasty! They also have smoked fish, grilled seafood, of course, kebabs and other dishes cooked on the grill.
In general, there are many places to eat. Our neighbors bought grilled chickens in an open (just a counter under an awning) Food store opposite the market.
By the way, there are braziers at the base, so you can either buy already marinated meat, or marinate yourself and overeat barbecue, almost without leaving the room.
The shops
Vegetables, fruits can be bought at the market or at stalls along the road in the center of the village. It happens that you are lucky to stumble upon old women selling cherries in buckets (3-5 liters) for 80-100 rubles per bucket!
Real cow's milk can be bought from locals. On some fences posted ads for sale. Since we don’t drink milk in its pure form, only in coffee, we bought all the milk (milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, yoghurts) in stores. I liked the Lazurit supermarket. They also bought a cake for my daughter's birthday - very tasty!
Everything you need for the beach (circles, mattresses, armlets, masks, tubes) can be bought at stalls in the center of the village. There is also a large selection of swimwear, pareos, a variety of clothes and shoes; bags, beach mats, etc. Souvenirs, handmade, packaged sweets, spices - everything that can be brought as a gift should also be looked for in the market and stalls near it.
At the opposite end of the village from the base there is a private amusement park "Emelya". There is a large and a small Ferris wheel, a small train, roundabouts, a race track with cars (independent driving from 12 years old).
Near the entrance to the park there is a karting track (from 8 years old, height from 130 cm, otherwise you won’t reach the pedals). They put on a helmet, a protective vest - everything is serious!
There is a planetarium in the village in the local recreation center (from 14.00 to 21.00-22.00, tel. +79184853940). The repertoire includes many interesting, educational cartoons and films. The average duration of a session is 20-27 minutes. The rule for choosing a film is “first come, order”.
On weekends, 3D cartoons are brought to the DC. They brought a circus and a laser show with us (we did not go, because in St. Petersburg there is a lot of this).
Next to the recreation center there is an open-air playroom with various slides, balls, trampolines.
Here, in front of the memorial to the soldiers, you can ride electric cars.
A little further, behind the platform for cars, there is a rope town with trails of various difficulty levels with mandatory safety ropes.
Throughout the center of the village there are places where you can pop balloons with darts. Between the park "Emelya" and the center of the village there is also a small entertainment center with carousels.
Where to go
We wanted to go to many places, but in the end we only visited the open-air ethnographic museum - the reconstructed Cossack village "Ataman". We spent 3 hours there, but it could have been longer. There is a place for children to climb and play, and for adults to sit and relax. There is a cafe-dining room on the territory of the museum. Entrance to the museum for children under 7 years old is free, from 7 to 12 - 150 rubles, for adults 350 rubles. The ticket is valid all day, that is, you can leave the village and return there again.
What else is in the vicinity:
- a mud volcano about 3 km from the base along the road along the sea. Mud, they say, healing. You can lie in it, and then wash yourself in the sea. You just need to take swimsuits that are not a pity, because the dirt from the clothes is almost not washed off;
- military hill. Also an open air museum. Lots of different military vehicles to climb on;
- a sturgeon farm, if you are interested in the stages of development of the Azov sturgeon: from caviar and fry to a huge, caviar-bearing fish;
- house-museum of M. Yu. Lermontov;
- tasting rooms of wineries "Chateau-Tamagne" and "Fanagoria";
- a small water park and a dolphinarium in the village of Golubitskaya;
- large water parks in Anapa and a dolphinarium and a zoo there;
- various jeep safari tours (in the center of the village there are tables of travel agencies where you can buy various options for excursions and safari tours).
