The service was so slow and reluctant that I just remembered the student canteens, and the menu was to match the service. Some of the guests even joked that they had not eaten such an omelette since 1981, since they stopped going to the pioneer camp from the factory. But 4 were announced! stars. And although the beauty of Suzdal and the winter splendor of Russian nature atoned for all the mistakes in choosing a hotel, we are unlikely to return to the "Hot Keys" again. Moreover, in the summer we rested at the Stromynka Hotel and we can give him a solid 5 for everything. Presumably, we will continue there.

The fact is that "Hot Springs" is probably so called because there is no cold water in principle. We "rested" with a company of 15 people for 3 holidays, all "scalded" by a marvelous rest. I'll start in order, rented 4 rooms (double) for 3700 rubles per night, 1 room for 6700 rubles / day (3-bed) and 1 for 8000 rubles / day (two-room two-level "LUX"). 1- Faucets in the hotel allow you to set the water for only 1 minute, after that they live their lives. To wash at a comfortable temperature is not possible, only a contrast shower. Either boiling water or chilling water. You especially catch the buzz when you lather your head! You can’t wash yourself, you can’t wash your children at all! This also applies to rooms for 8000 per day! 2- Drown in the rooms- for slaughter! On the third floor in double rooms - skylights, it is not possible to ventilate the room. There is a gas chamber in the corridors! A narrow staircase with paintings on the walls that you are afraid to touch. 3- Breakfast in the restaurant! This is a different song!! ! All 3 breakfasts were according to the same scheme: they went out to have breakfast by 10 am. First of all, they went to bow to the bar, so that they would tear off a coupon for breakfast. Then it was necessary to find a table free from dirty dishes, remove the uneaten grubs by the previous eaters, after a 15-minute wait, find out from the “waiter” whether this table is being served and wait another 15 minutes. When patience ran out, we decided to approach the administrator with the question: “can I help you catch food? ” - "RESTAURANT" is designed for 80 service people, and you are "poorly sick" more than 200 - so we can’t cope - the Hotel Administrator answers. It would be easier for them and for the guests if they arranged a Swedish table, at least with those products that do not spoil - bread, jam in bags. In boilers, boiling water is loaded with scale !! ! And this is in a hotel, on the facade of which 4 stars flaunt !! ! 4- We also dined in the hotel restaurant - everyone had an upset stomach! They waited for the bread, as if they themselves baked it in the ovens of the hotel! 5- Room service - not provided! I ordered chicken broth from my room by phone, I went to the restaurant myself and waited 15 more for it to be taken out! I had to ask the girls to cover the plate with something. But they clearly know that you need to take a deposit for dishes - 200 rubles! 6- "Siberian bath" - a steam room is cool, on the second floor there is a double leather bed - apparently for lovers of sadomas. There is no telephone in the bath! There are no slippers! They could have warned that it is necessary to take water with you, so that there is no dehydration of the body! I also recommend bringing a kettle and cups with you! The cost of the service is 300 rubles per person / hour! Real bath for 5-6 people. 1 shower! In winter, you can’t go down to the ice-hole - there is ice on the steps! 7- Departure from the hotel! Please note that you must hand over the room to the hotel representative personally, otherwise you may find yourself in the following situation: when leaving through the barrier, you will be asked to go to the reception, and there you will become the owner of the towel you soiled for 480 rubles !! ! It is not possible to prove that it was not me who soiled the towel at the reception! There was no acceptance certificate from even the cleaning lady, who was busy with another room! To sum up: we will go to Suzdal more than once, but I don’t even go to the Hot Keys hotel, and I don’t advise anyone. It does not correspond in terms of service level to the category for which it claims!

Breakfast included in the price is worthy. Yoghurt, sliced cheese, meat, sausages with peas, pancakes with jam, tea, coffee.
We took a lot of pictures, because elements of antique utensils (irons, locks, keys, bolts, architraves) have been added to the design of the restaurant and the territory

On the territory of the Hot Springs, an ancient Russian city of the 10th century era was recreated. Forges, a log semi-dugout, a bread oven. Vsevlad (Head of the Historical Reconstruction Club) conducts a tour of the "streets of living history". Thank you very much for an interesting and informative tour. We tried archery, spear throwing, sword fighting. We not only had a rest, but also learned about the life of our ancestors.

In the evening they came for dinner. Hot dishes are delicious, well, such small portions are not in Russian. I made the vegetable salad laugh - half a small tomato, cut into half rings, next to a handful of onions, next to a teaspoon of sour cream, next to a sprig of parsley - 120 re! Sturgeon ear - fish in a broth as clean as a tear, delicious, but, probably, for 800 re it would be possible to throw something else there.
In general, having paid a little over 2 thousand (without drinks! ) We left hungry for a restaurant in the Kremlin (there, how many times they came to Suzdal, they always feed excellently! For about the same money). And yet, I understand, summer, but there should be no flies in the restaurant! I saw a group of foreigners, and then they will talk about such Russian "hospitality"!
Summary - in general, I liked it, the bath compensated for everything. Come to take a steam bath, enjoy nature - great! You have to eat elsewhere.
