It was a gift from a loved one for my birthday - 3 days at the Bogatyr Hotel and of course a trip to Rosa Khutor.

the only negative of the hotel: it does not have its own territory, the hotel is located directly on the territory of a small amusement park in Sochi, so I lowered one star.

TOUR OPERATOR
- Biblio Globus. Instead of a 3-day stay, our tour was reduced to 1 day, because the departure time was postponed.
IMPORTANT! Especially for short trips, fix the departure time - the "flight specification" service (3 thousand rubles), if possible. So we had to buy tickets ourselves.

TRANSFER and ACCOMMODATION
- 15-20 minutes from the airport on Yandex. taxi for 350 rubles. instead of 1000 rubles.

- check-in at 14h, but we were settled within 15-20 minutes. straightaway.

ROYAL ROOM.
Room number 225 on the 4th floor with a view of the ferris wheel. We thought that we were given a huge suite, but it turned out to be a standard room)
- king-size bed - it's just huge!
- a spacious stylish bathroom with a large shower, a huge mirror.
- slippers, bathrobes, plasma, kettle in the room.
- a lot of lights + to read special flashlights above the bed - convenient.
- an oak table, throne chairs, paintings - you really feel like in an old castle, but ennobled and fresh.
The room can be compared with the level of good 5 * Turkey, although the hotel is declared as 4 *

NUTRITION
We only had breakfast.
- a huge selection: fruits (we were in winter! ), cottage cheese, juices, delicious coffee, pancakes, scrambled eggs and much more. At the same time, there are waiters in the hall. Super!

INFRASTRUCTURE:
- there is a spa with a pool, but we didn’t get there because we went to the rose.

WHAT'S NEAR?
- the hotel is located right on the territory of the Sochi Amusement Park
- sea in 7-10 min. from hotel
- within walking distance of all the Olympic facilities of the 2014 Olympics

WINTER HOLIDAYS.
We rented equipment directly at the hotel the evening before. Prices - average, cheaper than in Rosa Khutor (2 boards + equipment = 3 650 rubles)
It is very convenient that the hotel has a shuttle service to Rosa Khutor (100 rubles per person one way).

ROSA KHUTOR.
- The trip took about an hour.
- ski pass - 2100/person (from 12:00 to 18:00)
- 1650m. about 15 min. Such beauties are fantastic!
- There are cafes where you can eat.

GREEN ROUTE
This was my first snowboarding experience. Therefore, we started with an easy "green run" from 1650m (because Rosa Peak was closed for skiing on our day due to weather conditions).
What can I tell you? I walked most of the way with a board in my hands)
There are such slopes and cliffs!

Such turns that I was breathtaking even without a board))) what kind of board is there))) If the green track looks like this, then I'm afraid to imagine how difficult it looks.

ROUTE FOR BEGINNERS!
- Only after descending to 1070m we found out that there is a track for beginners. Here I came off))) Finally, I got on the board! It was a thrill!
As we later learned from the locals, it’s better for beginners to go for a ride on Gazprom on the first day. The trails are wide and gentle.

Tired and satisfied, we returned to Moscow!
