In July 2015, I was vacationing with my teenage daughter in Dagomys - the White Wave Hotel. I chose the hotel online. I liked the "Comfort with Balcony" room, which in the description had an area of .25 sq. m. In the photo of the room, the decor is beautiful: in addition to the beds, there was also a corner for relaxing. Swimming pool in front of the hotel. The room looks great and is actually "COMFORT". Of course, WI-Fi was declared free of charge in all rooms. I was ready to pay 3000 rubles per day for comfort, and not a bed in a regular room. I just got scammed! I would not recommend anyone to deal with these scammers.
Deception #1. The area of the room is not 25, but on the strength of 16 sq. m. There is nothing but beds and bedside tables in it. Oh yes! There was also a dead TV under the ceiling, which showed two and a half programs, a tiny refrigerator on the balcony, since there is nowhere to even put it in the room. Well, and a closet with a chest of drawers in the hallway. When I entered the room, my jaw dropped, I was just dumb! When she expressed her questions, we were kindly offered to bring another chair. Thanks for the favor! And where is the situation that was in the photo? I was told that I, like, looked in the wrong place, it was a description of a superior room. Lie! I remained at a loss, as I could not convincingly refute the words of the administrator. They don't have WI-FI! I was not able to go to the site and show the photo.
Deception number 2. As for WI-FI, they constantly answered me that it was broken - they do it. It appeared very weakly only on the day of our departure, and then only at the reception.
Deception number 3. Swimming pool. The last 2 days before our departure and it fell into disrepair, we did not use it.
The question is: why did I pay such a sum? Such unfortunate conditions can be found for 1 thousand days, and not for 3000 rubles. For 3000r to have a bed in an empty room - it's just a scam.
From the very first day of settling in the room, everything went to break. The air conditioner dripped right on my head. The towel holder fell off stupidly after a towel was hung on it. The shower sprayed in all directions as it was broken. The doorknob to the balcony wouldn't let me close the door without pinching my fingers. The water in the taps flowed according to some special, unknown schedule. Very often, the hot tap simply snorted and nothing flowed, while the cold water flowed in a thin stream or ended completely.
With every breakdown, we called the administrator, and she sent a master. He came and fixed. But in the end, the first 3-4 days (of the eight days of rest) we lived in conditions of constant repair. A drill was working behind the wall, our room was shaking with noise. On the balcony, the partition is not up to the top, we were forced to listen to all the mats from cheerful neighbors. Split - the external unit stands on the balcony with hot exhaust directly into the balcony. That is, it is simply impossible to rest there.
The disgusting thing was that our room 4-9 was at the very back of the hotel. That is, it was necessary to climb a very steep staircase to the 4th floor (there is no elevator), then walk 50 meters, turn, walk the same amount, turn again - and after 30 meters - here it is - the number! With heavy suitcases, to overcome such a difficult trajectory with the letter "P" is just a mockery... Once again you will not jump out into the street. While you get out, you feel like a marathon runner for a long distance.
At the same time, the administrator Olga behaved as if she made us terribly happy!
