During the autumn school holidays, instead of the usual sea, due to a change in passport, we rested with my mother, a teacher, in Avantel. Although there were so many children, it was as if my mother never left school. The hotel is clearly a family hotel, and animation, and children's rooms, and a lot of sports activities from playgrounds and walls to tubing and paintball.
Before Avantel, I was only in a couple of boarding houses / hotels near Moscow (on Klyazma, in Mikhailovsky and Arkhangelsky - these are all old estates, with beautiful views and territory, but very poor Soviet service and appropriate food). Avantel conquered us with a wonderful forest, a reservoir, and we love this direction very much because of trips to the Baltic states and St. Petersburg. We got there perfectly, in the summer it can be difficult to check in for the weekend - you need to plan the road due to traffic jams.
We took a standard room, the junior suites were already taken apart. The room is warm, TV, minibar full, although almost nothing used. There were no shampoos in the bathroom, we took our own slippers too. Neighbors were sometimes heard.

There was a small shop at the bottom of our building, if you forgot some of the shampoo pastes, but many come all the time and bring with them (there are no shops within walking distance or we didn’t find it, we have to go towards the villages and the monastery). Not far from the hotel there is a bus stop, someone took a taxi from the station. The reception is generally as if rendered, not in the building of the buildings.
Swimming pool (you get 2 hours free per day from 8 am to 8 pm) outside but very close. There is also a spa, a hairdresser, some games for children and a bowling alley. Be sure to wear hats! Mom liked the pool, big, normal paths. The water is very warm, warmer than in her pool in Moscow.
The food is ok, probably the best of all the places near Moscow where we were. The service is fast, the appliances are clean, the waiters are neat and smiling. There is always a choice, very tasty pastries, meat, various marinades and salty snacks.
Due to the season and the weather, we could not fully enjoy the walks, but the smell of pine trees and the river, gazebos, wooden houses, umbrellas on the beach are a special charm of the Russian middle zone. We wanted to look at the hotel in the summer, although we hadn’t swum in fresh water for a long time))) It’s a very beautiful place, and despite the long arrival, the people somehow dispersed around the territory without interfering with the rest of others. I don’t know how it was in other buildings, but life was in full swing in ours. There were a lot of families with strollers, children's chairs were noticed in the restaurant. Real living place
