Kostroma alone
gathered in Kostroma for a short time. but it took a long time to choose a hotel. By the way, in this town on the Volga there are a huge number of them. all - very different in price and quality of services. in the end, they ordered almost at random and... hit the bull's-eye. Hotel "Ipatievskaya Sloboda" is just something! located near the Ipatiev Monastery. and most importantly, one of the rooms has a bath!!! ! that's what we ordered. you can bathe at least a day for a flight! we have not bathed for so long, but anyway - we enjoyed it! and the room itself is very cool. Finished with wood, there is a real fireplace - take note for ski lovers! in short - you will not regret if you order this number. for the price by the way it turned out not more expensive, but even cheaper than in other hotels. unless, of course, in these other hotels you also order a bathhouse for at least two hours. and yet - for everyone who wants to learn as much as possible about Kostroma, I advise you to take a tour of the city. To be honest, we didn't regret it. everything was told and shown to us in great detail and only for the two of us. answered all of our many questions. and the girls are seriously engaged in the history of their city)
I regret that when I was alone in Suzdal, I did not find such guides (((
but when traveling to the Sumorokovskaya moose farm, we didn’t take guides, maybe in vain, of course. But it was interesting anyway. getting there is easy. by taxi. the way there and back is only 500 rubles. and the taxi driver will also wait for you, or drive up when you are free. the entrance to the farm for two is another 160. then they will give one guide on the farm and he will tell everything about the moose)))) and even give a carrot for the moose. By the way, don’t bring your own carrots - as they will tell you later, moose, of course, eat them, but they don’t digest or digest them. it's more like a carrot for tourists))))
what else to see in Kostroma - you yourself will find on the Internet. but Ipatievskiy to visit, to see the moose, to go around the city, to visit another monastery with a miraculous icon, to go to the bathhouse6 to buy a ring - there is Krasnoye Selo near Kostroma. It's just a center for jewelry stores. prices are acceptable. even more. this is not an advertisement6 but we compared the prices with the cost in Moscow and even in Greece, in Kostroma it is cheaper. you can also take a taxi to Krasnoye Selo. but it’s already more expensive there))) these stores are also in Kostroma, but there is more choice in Krasny. a lot more))))
All in all, a nice town. spend a couple of days - it's the most))) I advise)))
