We rested in Kaliningrad for a week in April 2022. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Kaliningrad, in fact, in the adjacent village of Vasilkovo. The room was large, bright, the room has a kitchen with everything you need, a sofa with a coffee table. Cleaning every day. The hotel has an excellent sauna, large, with a steam room and two small pools - warm and cold, a relaxation room, billiards. There is a bus stop within a 3-minute walk from the hotel, from where you can go to the center. Buses run frequently. Next to the bus stop is a Spar store. And when we returned to the hotel from the center, we got off at the previous stop, went to Miratorg and Pyaterochka, and, crossing the road to the side of the hotel, reached it on foot in about 10 minutes. We went on excursions to the Curonian Spit + Zelenogradsk and Svetlogorsk + Yantarny. I liked both excursions, we took Amber Koenigsberg from the travel agency, it's the cheapest there.
Svetlogorsk is very beautiful, you can say it is a city in the forest or a forest in the city. You can go there and just walk along the quiet streets. This is where the real Europe is! And they took a survey of Kaliningrad. Most of all I liked the Amalienau quarter, where villas from the early 20th century have been preserved. It is really very beautiful there, we even came there on our own for the second time, but it is far from the center. But it's worth it, be sure to take at least public transport. It is also worth listening to an organ music concert in the Cathedral, it lasts 45 minutes and takes place 1-2 times a day, it is better to check the schedule.
