We are preparing with my husband and friends for a trip to Egypt, I read a lot of reviews, both bad and good. It hit a nerve in some reviews of hotels in Egypt, such as cleaning the room only once a day, changing bed linen after 2-3 days - like that, this is bad! So, friends, for lack of a foreign passport (we were too lazy to do everything), we urgently got together and rushed to Gelendzhik for a bus tour.... I understand that only extreme people are ready to shake in a Chinese bus for 32 hours in a row with 5 stops to drink and pee. . . but nevertheless they decided (I will say that they went exactly the same way three years ago and were satisfied), but, apparently, they were younger and more romantic. . . So. . . bus. . . the miracle of the Chinese car industry, apparently, is designed for small Chinese no more than 1.5 meters tall, so a person with an average height of 1.7 was oh so bad, not to mention the spouse, men, apparently, are more steadfast in experiencing such inconveniences. . . So, after 30 hours we arrived in Gelendzhik, left Nizhny Novgorod, it was already cool in autumn (about 15 degrees), and here the beauty is + 25-27 degrees.... We checked into the White Princess Hotel, went on the recommendation, in principle, the hotel itself is normal for a Russian resort, there are several disadvantages, such as, for example, room cleaning. . . for 10 days they didn’t clean ONE TIME (!!! ), we took out the garbage in the bag ourselves in the morning, I’m not talking about the fact that it would be possible to change the bed linen at least once - apparently, this is not accepted at all with us. . . We must pay tribute to "Bel. princess", there was bed linen! (in the same Gelendizhk in the Viva hotel, where we rested in 2005, the bed linen was such that the first thing we rushed to the store and bought a set (clean and without holes)) : ) )) Otherwise - the White Princess is probably not the worst place in Gelendzhik, the owners are very friendly and nice people! eat in a dirty smelly cafe on the embankment, you need to come to terms with the fact that the waitresses finally don’t give a shit about you, no matter how many tips you leave her, the music barks so that after 5 minutes you start to go crazy, either from crazy decibels, or from the fact that from all over the music is completely different, and, perhaps, from everything at once... the quality of food in cafes on the embankments sucks, and the prices - for example, potatoes with a piece of meat and half a liter of beer (typ. Siberian crown) for two are worth 1500 rubles... NOT HURT!!! ! But in general, with all I could put up with it if there was WEATHER. . . out of 10 days that we were in Gelendzhik, there were two hot days - the day of arrival and the day of departure. . . the rest of the time, then north-east, then rain. . . forced themselves to sit on the beach in jackets. . . to look at the dirty sea (and what else was there in it... and papers, and plastic glasses, cigarette butts, condoms, etc. . . other things..... they figured it out later, it would be possible to safely dangle in the same Turland with this money. . . Oh, I would like to write separately about the cost of sun loungers. . . for example, in Gelendzhik on the central beach, renting one sunbed costs 50 rubles before lunch, 50 after lunch. . . 100 days. . . and we decided to hit the road for a day in Divnomorsk - there renting a sunbed costs 50 rubles (PER HOUR!!!!! ) amazingly simple !!! ! a man is sitting on sunbeds, no one takes anything from him, vacationers are lying around on something, on mattresses, on towels, etc. . . while in Gelendzhik these sun loungers were already snapped up by 10 o'clock. . . Separately, I want to talk about excursions. . . Since Gelendzhik is not a new place for us, in principle, we knew almost everything. . . therefore, we decided not to spend much time on excursions, a couple of times we rode on a sail-motor vessel in the sea - nothing - cool, and were tempted by a tempting excursion to Pshada Ranch. . . well, sucks, I'll tell you. . . sellers lure, tell very nicely. . . and horses there, and ATVs, and nature. . . in fact, the whole ranch is a paddock with horses and a canvas tent with a liquor. . . horse riding - 45 minutes in a circle (after tasting Kuban wines, it's very cool to ride horses at a speed of 100 meters per hour - your head is spinning and you want to sleep... ) quadrics are not given to women. . . only with men. . . why is not clear. . . the guide (an overweight 150 kilo aunt sarcastically explained that the type of "Amazon", who imagined themselves that they could ride, ruined a couple of quadrics. . . ) is doubtful. . . they just want to make more money, because you can take a quad yourself and ride it for 2000 rubles for half an hour, or you can take a quad with your husband for 4000 rubles for the same half an hour. . . if we had a choice, we would definitely take 2 quadrics for 4 thousand than one for the same money. . . so they didn’t ride quads at all. . however, as it turned out later, they did the right thing, because riding quadrics was not much different from riding horses, the same 100 meters per hour in a circle. . . KASHMAR!!!!! ! In general, the impression of the rest was sucks.... I won't go to Krasnodar anymore. . . It's better to rest at home. . . In February we are going to Egypt, to the Sultan, there are a lot of reviews on this site about the hotel, both good and not very good. . . but, I think, in comparison with our native resorts, it will be a hundred times better there !!!!!!!! !
