And here we are in the room. We took a junior suite. Having opened the room, we immediately went out to the balcony and - here it is - happiness! Opened chic view of the sea, which was on the outstretched hand. The noise of the waves, the cry of seagulls, the sea air - just for this it was worth going. It was like in a fairy tale. The room itself exactly matched the description, one to one as in the photo. There was a lot of furniture - in addition to the sofa bed, a coffee table with a mirror, just a table on wheels, 2 bedside tables, wooden stools, a large wardrobe, another shelf on the side of it. I was surprised by the presence of a large number of dishes - 12 plates, 3 glasses, 3 cognac glasses, 3 vodka glasses, a decanter, cutlery, a tray, an opener and everything else. There were even brushes for cleaning clothes. Hairdryer and kettle as promised. The bed consisted of 2 beds pushed together. The blankets and pillows were soft and light, the linen was perfect - new, fresh, already creaking, it felt like it had just been from the store.
Of the shortcomings about the room, I note that when I am in many hotels, I always pay attention to the presence of a telephone for communication with the administration - here it was absent. Of the bathroom amenities, there was only soap, no shower gels, shampoos, i. e. The necessary hygiene kit was not in the room.
Now about the dining room. We paid for the package with food, which was just amazing. I will not describe the variety of dishes, just say that there was EVERYTHING. And how much you want. Many thanks to the chef and all the staff of the dining room.
I will express my opinion about the organization of the dining room. I was very surprised that there were no trays in the dining room. They simply don't exist. Now imagine that you have poured hot soup into a bowl and you need to take it to the table. Other than this plate, you can't carry anything else. What are you doing? That's right, take the bowl of soup and come back. Take another plate and cycle again. Now imagine that each person makes such movements at least 7-8 times - either for a fork, then compote, then for bread, etc. And if there are 100 people in the dining room? It turns out the queue, pandemonium and flea market. Who needs it and why? To carry less? That is unlikely. People walk and walk, and until they take everything they want, they will walk. Who came up with this round dance remains a mystery. The administrator of the dining room, which conducts magnetic cards, apparently is happy with everything. But there are no people. Everyone who comes to the dining room for the first time asks about the trays. It is very strange and incomprehensible that the administration is well aware of this, but completely ignore this fact. Maybe it's time to reconsider this situation?
About the beach. Not big, but there is enough space for everyone, as well as sunbeds. A lifeguard is on duty who, at your request, will bring a sunbed to the place that you specify. The water is mostly clean, but not transparent, of course. The bottom is mangled by huge boulders overgrown with mud. There is no practically even terrain. You swim and hit your knees on such a boulder, peeling them to the blood. But this is nature, nothing can be done. Nobody smokes on the beach. There is a designated smoking area. Everything is clean. Above the room where the lifeguard sits, there is a first-aid post. A special topic of conversation is the nurse. An elderly lady in a white coat who, when apparently bored, begins to roam the beach and pester people. Yes, yes, just stand up. We witnessed a very unpleasant scene when this lady approached a family with two small children and began to literally SCREAM AND SCREAM why the children are swimming when the waves are on the sea. The children were literally a step away from the shore, mother and father stood nearby. You should have heard the tone in which all this was said... Then she began to yell - what house are you from? I repeat, what house are you from? I still know. Boorish derogatory tone. In my opinion, the parents were just confused and did not know what to say. I wanted to intervene and make a remark to HER in a white coat about incorrect behavior, but I didn’t, because. her husband was standing next to her, who had to somehow react. The case ended with the fact that people just packed up and left the beach. And this is not an isolated case. How many times have we seen her, how she taught everyone who got in her way. You can, of course, make a remark, suggest something, but how can you raise your voice, shout at people? You didn’t put on a panama hat and you are already an enemy of the people... It feels like the beach is her personal, and the people on it must obey her. Very, very annoying.
There is no entertainment on the beach. No bananas, no trampolines, nothing. Once a day, two animator girls come to exercise for 10 minutes and that's it. But this is not the center for you, they knew where they were going.
On the territory there is a playground with different cars. All parents regretted that there was no sandbox. The children brought scoops-pails with them, but there is no sand. Is it really that hard to make a simple sandbox?
There were bicycles for rent, both for adults and for children, various cars for children. Adult bike rental 1 hour = 100 rubles. They said that last year it was 50 rubles.
I was very surprised that there are no gazelles-minibuses to, for example, go to the center of Kabardinka on the same embankment. There are scheduled buses, but they go to the city and the darkness fills with people, so you won’t go on it for the sake of one stop. It’s 3 km to the center, it’s not far, but it’s 30 minutes on foot in the scorching sun, it’s hard, and even back. I had to take a taxi, in Kabardinka they have 100 rubles, but this is only an official taxi. Private traders take 200, or even 250. So, in the early days, not knowing the prices, we took a taxi to the old park, which turned out to be private. He took 250 rubles from us. there and 200 back. For this money it was possible to get to Gelendzhik. We learned the lesson and then called a taxi only through the dispatcher.
If you go to the center on a rental bike, you can get there in 10 minutes, we checked. But it’s not convenient to drive - the sidewalks are very narrow, a lot of people walk along them, you can’t turn around. It is dangerous to drive on the roadway - cars drive at high speed.
All houses are rented under protection on the remote control. Somehow, having returned, we forgot to remove the guard and opened the balcony door - after 5-7 minutes, two security officers knocked on the door, who said that the alarm had worked in our house. It's nice that people are doing their job conscientiously.
Discotheques for adults and children were arranged 2 times a week on the territory of the Zhemchuzhina cafe. I was very surprised that the entrance for their vacationers was 100 rubles. from a person. It is clear that you can take a fee from those who came to the disco from other places, but from your own?
