Wonderful tour to the Spasskaya Fair
At the Spasskaya Fair in Yelabuga. Good afternoon everyone. From July 31 to August 2, we made a sightseeing bus tour to Yelabuga from the travel agency "RUMB" from Tolyatti. We are very pleased with the organized excursion program and the Spasskaya Fair. Little Yelabuga impresses with a large number of different museums. The first day of stay was devoted to a sightseeing tour of the city, as well as a visit. Museum of the cavalry girl N. A. Durova, the heroine of the war of 1812. It was she who was the prototype of Shurochka Azarova from the movie "Hussar Ballad". A monument was also erected to her, where she famously prances on a horse in a hussar uniform. Then there was a visit to the museum in memory of the poet Marina Tsvetaeva, where we were told about the tragic fate of her and her family. Returning from abroad, she committed suicide in 1941, unable to endure the arrests and imprisonment of her sister, husband and daughter.
Our guide Svetlana read beautiful poems at her grave. Then we visited Portomoyne, where the inhabitants used to wash their clothes. It was interesting to know what used to be used for washing clothes and the fact that soap was considered a symbol of the culture and purity of the nation. Also of interest was a visit to the house-museum of V. M. Bekhterev, who became an outstanding psychiatrist, although at school he was a C student. And at the end of the first day, we visited the Yelabuga settlement, where the view of nature is breathtaking, and you want to swallow the air eagerly. He is so pure. Svetlana taught us how to make wishes, touching the old tower with her hands, told us about the spring and the history of this settlement. We were delighted with the stories of Svetlana, she is a true professional in her field, and a person who loves her region. Too bad she was only with us for one day.
On the second day, we visited the local history museum, where local guides told about the life and way of life of the ancient Bulgars, about the coming of the Mongolo-Tatars to this land and about their influence on the culture and development of Yelabuga. The museum of memory of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was interesting, where the history of the heroic deed of the heroes of Elabuga from the beginning to the end of the war is depicted on various stands. After visiting the museums, we were given free time to walk around the Spassky Fair, which widely presents the products of craftsmen and craftsmen from all over our vast Motherland - Russia. The third day was devoted to the house-museum of the artist I. I. Shishkin, which presents the life and work of one of the outstanding artists Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin. Then we visited the Museum of Decorative and Applied Art, where the products of various craftsmen arriving at the Spassky Fair are widely represented.
And pottery, and weaving, and blacksmithing art of making various products from metal, ceramics, leather, wool, etc. I would like to thank our guide Nadezhda for the excellently organized and conducted tour. With her, we became good friends, not the first time we travel with her around Russia. Many thanks to our driver Igor, who took us there and back with comfort and without incident. The whole team of "Rumba" huge words of gratitude for the excellent work and interesting excursions. All the best and prosperity. I would like to go with you to Nizhny Novgorod for a weekend tour. There is also something to see. Good luck! ! !
