We were lucky that we stopped in the "Golden Mean"! We had a great time! Very friendly and caring administrators. We lived in a double "standard", so everything was in the room: a refrigerator, and a shower room with a toilet. My friend and I are non-smokers, so it was very joyful that neither the room nor the hotel smelled of tobacco. The hotel is very quiet, homely, cozy and calm, despite the location in the very center of the city. Palace Square, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Mariinsky Theater - everything is within walking distance! There are cafes and restaurants near the hotel. We will definitely return to the "Golden Mean"!
