I stayed at the Mokhovaya Art Hotel in St. Petersburg earlier than the dates in my review. It's just that the autocalendar ends in 2008. We lived in a room with a piano. It consisted of a living room and a small bedroom. This is the first floor of a residential building (at least it was then) so there is no view from the window.

We lived in a room with a piano. It consisted of a living room and a small bedroom. This is the first floor of a residential building (at least it was then) so there is no view from the window. The location of the hotel is convenient. The very heart of the city. You can walk everywhere. The hotel does not have its own restaurant (it did not exist then) and breakfast is brought to your room. Breakfast is modest. Ham and eggs, bread, juice or tea.
Quiet in the evening and at night (for those who appreciate it). We lived on a promotion and the room cost either 3000 or 3500. This is a very reasonable price.
The staff is friendly. The only remark to the maids, who need to be more careful about their duties. Somehow an earring fell out of my ear and while I was looking for it, I pulled out 25 pieces of mini chocolates from under the bed, which the hotel puts on bedside tables as a bonus and which guests do not eat. How they get under the bed, I have no idea.
