The hotel is a departmental hotel of the Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, occupies the 4th and 5th floors of a building built in 1930. Located on the right bank of the Neva next to the Alexander Nevsky bridge, a 5-minute walk from the Novocherkasskaya metro station.
The room is clean, the furniture is quite new, the bathroom too. In the heat, it is better to stay in rooms overlooking the courtyard (without a balcony), as the rooms with open windows overlooking the embankment are very noisy.
Refrigerator broke two days after check in. No one responded to requests to fix it a day later. After a scandal at the reception, they offered an adjacent room with a working refrigerator. Moreover, others were immediately settled in my former room.
Breakfast is a buffet, but the choice is meager, there is practically no hot food, mostly cuts of cheap sausage and cheese, boiled eggs, cottage cheese, porridge, once there were sausages, dried fruit compote.
There is only one elevator in the hotel, which also often does not work, so it is better to take the stairs.
