Anapa - impressions
This year my family and I (2 adults, 2 children - the oldest is 11, the youngest is 2.5) decided to have a rest in Anapa.
Before that, they rested on the territory of Russia in Kabardinka (Gelendzhik), Lazarevskoye (Sochi), Alushta (Crimea). Last year we were in Alushta in the sanatorium "Golden Ear" (now it is called Golden) - we really liked it. (I wrote a review about our vacation last year). But, in order not to stop there, we decided to further explore the resorts of Russia. And the choice fell on Anapa (they thought the child was small - he would be fine on the "sand".
Having studied all the reviews and recommendations, we settled on the village of Vityazevo (since everyone wrote that the sea blooms in Anapa, and better in Dzhemet and Vityazevo). After a thorough analysis of all the hotels in Vityazevo, the choice fell on the Imera Hotel. When selecting, only hotels with good swimming pools (in case of bad weather), a playground and the presence of a cafe / dining room, as well as proximity to the sea, were considered.
The cost of a hotel room by Vityazevsky standards is above average, but when compared with the prices of hotels in Lazarevsky, for example, it is much lower.
Now about the hotel:
In general, the hotel is good - beautiful, large area, several good pools, elevator. Everything looks very "pompous". The rooms match the photos on the website. Location - the beginning of the main (only) Vityazevskaya beach street - Paralia. On the one hand, all the entertainment is at hand, on the other, it is quiet and calm. To the sea with an average step - 10-15 minutes (the site says 7-10 minutes). To be honest, we thought it would be closer.
I was also pleased that we were met and escorted to the railway station - for free.
Of the minuses:
1. The frequency of room cleaning - in our 11 days of stay, the room was cleaned 3 times. For a "sand" resort - this is very little. A day later in the room it was possible to baste a small "sandbox".
Moreover, upon arrival, no one told us that for cleaning you need to give your keys to the cleaning lady, otherwise there will be no cleaning.
2. Girls at the front desk - in my opinion, they all need to take courses "Customer Service". Very slow, one does not know what the other is doing/did. One girl walked around the hotel as if she was not an administrator, but the owner of the hotel (in the worst sense of the word). I can only note the work of the administrator Irina (smiling, responsive, with a desire to help).
3. Canteen - prices in the canteen are 15-20% higher than in nearby cafes / canteens, but the quality of food leaves much to be desired. Not tasty, the food is almost always cold, the buns are almost dry. But most often they ate with them, because they did not want to get poisoned.
Now about the village.
The village is small, there is little vegetation, a lot of sand. It takes 15-20 minutes to go to Anapa (minibuses run every 10-15 minutes).
The beach is big, wide, DIRTY.
There are few toilets and they are far away, so all children pee either on the sand or in the sea (I don’t know about adults)). Every third one smokes, and "bull-calves" are buried in the sand. On the beach they sell crayfish, corn - all in individual plastic bags. Then these packages roll around the shore and float at the water's edge. What doesn’t float in the water itself)).
I don’t know if we were lucky or so there all the time, but the sea itself was quite clean (in terms of flowering), the algae were practically not noticeable. ANAPA is another matter (one day we decided to go on an excursion to ANAPA on our own - to see their beach). To say that the first minutes of my stay on the beach I was in the strongest shock is to say nothing. When I read about the flowering of the sea, I could not even imagine that it looks exactly like this.
The entire central beach, 2-3 meters wide, was lined with green, withered, bad-smelling vegetation, and the water in the sea of .30-40 meters was not visible at all, since instead of water there was some kind of terrible, green, thick slurry in which vacationers swam. Seeing how 3 children of 4-5 years old are sitting in this porridge with their hands “shaking” something, I felt so sorry for them, because only a 15-minute drive was quite a decent sea, and their “mothers”, who brought the children here to relax and "gaining" health, I wanted to bring to some kind of responsibility. Well, it can't be like that.
Okay, now a little summary and recommendations:
We will never go to the "children's" resort of ANAPA (Vityazevo, Dzhemete) again. In principle, you can find a clean beach there (we went to the "Tortuga" - it's not bad there) and a normal hotel and go on interesting excursions.
Personally, I did not have the smell of the sea. He wasn't there.
That's when you relax in the subtropics (Crimea, Sochi) - there is a completely different air, you immediately understand that you are at sea.
From the recommendations:
if someone decides to relax in Vityazevo, I would recommend the Imera hotel, as I saw that the hotel management is working on its mistakes, and after reading last year's guest reviews, I saw that they are correcting a lot.
If there is a desire to buy pizza in Vityazevo, then only in the Ponzo pizzeria (the pizzeria was opposite our hotel). Very tasty. Once we decided to experiment and buy in Luxore (in the forums, some praised their cuisine). Their pizza is disgusting, like a "sole" - I do not advise anyone.
We bought shish kebab from the shish kebab of our hotel and the hotel opposite - in principle, the same, but everyone is deceived by the price. First you need to ask how much it costs, then ask to show the numbers on the scales. Otherwise, they are making a fool of 40-70 rubles.
Very tasty pastries are sold to the left of the entrance to the beach.
Next to pastries, you can buy grilled chicken (very cheap, 240-250 rubles). bought 2 times - not poisoned))
Pampers - you need to take with you. Prices in pharmacies and Magnit are 2 times higher than ours.
That's probably all.
I hope next year we will go to Crimea again.
