Where to relax in Romania
I'm talking about Romania, because I know the resorts thoroughly!
went there three times. I rested at the resort of Neptun-Olim or on Olympus, but several times I also climbed into my mother - she is a little further - you need to go by minibus. I tell. lived in hotels - BANAT, MUNTENIA, SLATINA.
The last one is the best, the first two are the old-style high-rise buildings. of course the rooms are shabby, but in Slatina there was a large balcony with a table and chairs, it is low, there are trees around and you can hide wonderfully in their shade at noon. the hotel is located very close to the sea - go around it and go down the ladder - 100 meters, no more, just exit from the hotel not to the sea, but to the street. I was very pleased with the neatness - everything was cleaned all the time. towels changed frequently. Although I will say, if you give the governess a couple of euros or some kind of chocolate, everything will be licked and cleaned doubly.
The resort has a market, many shops and restaurants. prices vary, but on average a bottle of wine in a restaurant is 5 euros, meat with a side dish is about 3-4 euros, in general, you can eat for two for 10. or you can go for 20-30, depending on where you go. I'm going to rest and unwind, so I didn't save on food, I didn't eat fast food. although he is there too.
Neptune resort is nearby, I would say that the hotel is located on the border, but there is no border as such, just the name is changing. the entire network of resorts Olympus-Neptune-Jupiter is one huge street, on the one hand there are restaurants, shops, then a line of hotels and the sea.
We must not forget about the wonderful lakes on the Neptune-Jupiter border. It's nice to walk there during sunset. Be sure to visit the restaurant on the water of one of the lakes - URSULA. the impression is great. there is a menu in Russian, but the prices bite. but IT'S WORTH IT - I've been there five times.
About Russian, no one knows it in restaurants, they only know it in the market. and that's not all. so print out the phrase book. mk. not everyone knows English.
go shopping - I mean clothes and all that - on Neptune - on foot or by tram.
but it's cool to get out on mamaya. by minibus to mangalia - there by minibus - to GARA_ Constant - this is their station - and then to mama. only an hour with all the transfers and expectations, but there is a real party. Why didn't I rest there? There is no greenery. there is an aqua park, cool by the way, many restaurants, hotels. But there is no such park area as on Olympus. yes, it's noisy. on Olympus, Neptune is fun, a bunch of discos and all that, but they are far from hotels, so they don’t interfere. and there there is a hotel - 12 floors, and below on the beach - a disco. rocking all night in bed! so I chose Olympus.
The beach is clean and sandy. though for the third time one day there were a lot of jellyfish near the shore - before this was not the case. I don't know if they suck or not. but the view is not very good. in the evening they themselves disappeared somewhere and the people calmly went into the water.
I LOVE THE CUISINE AND THE WINE!!!! ! a lot of meat. meat is their traditional food. lamb, pork, beef - on a skewer, on skewers. chops, escalots - everything is there! super! you don't have to go hungry! the truth is, the fish is terribly expensive. the choice is the best - again in the restaurant - URSULA.
be sure to go to the pizzeria - ANTIK, which is on Neptune. you will not regret.
