We rested for 2 weeks at the Mamaia resort.

I like it. The resort is good, a lot of interesting things.

We rested in Siret hotels (2 stars). The hotel looks like a Soviet hotel. Generally normal and clean. We had breakfast and dinner (a la carte). It was possible to choose for 18 lei per person. This was enough for us. Portions are big.

No one speaks Russian at the Siret Hotel. And in English, too, with difficulty. In the hotel restaurant there was a waiter boy who spoke Russian, otherwise it would have been very difficult. The menu is exclusively in Romanian.

They say that Mamaia is the most expensive resort - I did not notice this. We went to Euphoria Nord, where the prices are the same. Peaches cost about 5 lei, you can find them for 3.5-delicious ones, in Constanta there are 2 lei in supermarkets. Those that cost 10 lei are Turkish, we did not buy them.

For lunch in a restaurant for two of us, it was about 60 lei - this is soup, a main course and juice, but this is overeating - the portions are large there.

We were in a restaurant of national cuisine (which is at the entrance to the telegondolas) - we did not like it.

The soup costs about 6-8 lei, the second 12-20 lei. We took lunch in a restaurant at the hotels - it is much tastier there and came out at 18 lei per person.

A lot of pastries are sold everywhere - 2 lei each. Delicious.

The beach is normal, the sea, however, was not very warm. The storm was one day. The sea is shallow, like in Anapa.

Too bad there weren't many tours. The tour is organized if a group of 10 people is recruited. The group gathered only for an excursion to the Carpathians (Pelesh and Bran castles). The tour is wonderful. Just great, we love it. Excursion for 2 days. I would like to say to those who are not in the know: Bran Castle has nothing to do with Count Dracula. This is a legend. It just says so in Bram Stoker's book. Therefore, there is nothing about Dracula in the castle.

It’s just that we had a couple of hysterical aunts on the tour who threw a scandal to the guide, why they weren’t shown the torture chamber and where the Romanians Dracula Delhi, and that, in general, they were deceived.

It is better to bring euros to Romania. At the exchange office they said that if they had changed dollars, they would have lost a lot on the exchange. They somehow first convert them into euros, and then into lei.

Exchange rate in a bank in Constanta 1 euro = 3.1 lei

in Mamaia 1 euro = 2.95 lei (this is at the Danubius office)

In general, those who are used to relaxing in Turkey and pretending to be a mega service should not go to Romania, this is a vacation for those who want to see the country and who don’t care how many meat dishes he has for dinner 20 or 1.
