The hotel is conveniently located. Right next to the hotel is the terminus of the retro tram and bus stop 441. The Camarao supermarket is only 120 meters away. Nearby are 2 excellent fish restaurants and several decent eateries.
The hotel is small: 2 residential floors, and on the first, which is considered zero, there is a reception and a restaurant where a very hearty breakfast is served in the morning.
The staff speaks English, there is a Ukrainian maid. Everyone is very smiling and friendly!
Double room is small, 8 meters, but everything is there. Very comfortable beds, excellent mattresses and pillows, own bathroom with bidet, although the hotel has only 1 star.
Do not rush to be upset if you do not get a room with an ocean view! Rooms facing the courtyard are much quieter. Rooms 107 and 108 have huge terraces. Such a terrace helped us a lot: when it was windy on the ocean, we sunbathed on it. There are no air conditioners in the rooms, but it is by no means hot near the ocean. Even on the hot days of our stay, the room was cool. There is a TV, many channels, all European.
The breakfast is excellent. There is a hot omelette, sausages, stewed champignons. As well as standard cuts of sausage and cheese, muesli, cereals and yoghurts, fruit salad. Very tasty butter! Lots of baked goods. Juice packaged, non-alcoholic mojito. Coffee from a coffee machine.
Cleaning every day. Towels are changed daily. On the day of arrival, a welcome bottle of cool water was waiting for us in the room, which was most welcome that day. The bathroom has all accessories, including shower caps, gel, shampoo and body milk.
The hotel is located almost on the beach, 2 minutes walk to it, you just need to cross the road at the pedestrian crossing. All drivers stop and give way to pedestrians.
The beach is wide and deep. Daily in the mornings "combed" with a tractor. Equipped with shower and toilets. Near the beach there is a playground with swings, a football field and a surf school. Surfer lessons are held right on the beach.
The retro tram runs to Sintra on schedule only three times a day.
Bus 441 goes to the Sintra Portela S-Bahn station. From there, 10 minutes walk to the center of Sintra with its beautiful palaces. And also from this station it is very convenient to go to Lisbon.
Trains go to Lisbon Rossio or Orienti stations every 7-15 minutes.
For tourists who want to see the city, the Rossio station is more convenient, it is located in the city center.
For those who need to go to the airport, it is more convenient to take the train to the Orienti station. From there, three metro stops to the airport. The metro station is located right in the building of the Orienti station on the 0th floor.
We had a great rest and are grateful to all the hotel staff for their friendly attitude to the guests! Saying goodbye already, as with native people!
