The absolute advantage of the hotel is its location. The hotel is located in the historical center of the city at the beginning of the Gloria elevator. Metro station - behind the neighboring building across the road (direct metro line to the airport). Rossio Station (train to Sintra) - through the building. The tourist center and the police are in the next building. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Comercio Square. The hotel itself has 2 restaurants. In the evenings, they play fado in one of them! The rooms are clean and tidy. We lived for a week - they cleaned and made the bed every day. The bathroom is equipped with a bidet, a hair dryer, a set of towels, shampoo, gel. The room has air conditioning, TV (no Russian channels), refrigerator, safe (perhaps there are simpler rooms in the unrestored wing). In November, there were few guests, but during the season it would probably be noisy in the room. Breakfast is poor, but it's not annoying. For Portugal, the main meal times are lunch and dinner. In addition, cafeterias open everywhere in the morning (delicious cakes and fragrant coffee). In general, I liked the hotel and, in my opinion, deserves the status of 3 stars. I recommend it as an ideal place for educational tourism at an affordable price.
