Tourists are often offered expensive tours - and this turns out to be 5+, but correctly orienting people on accommodation and leisure is a BIG PROBLEM, because no one really knows anything about this country ....
We are traveling by car. We traveled all over Portugal and Spain far and wide I want to make my addition on the last stay in the Algarve, as we stayed in several places ....

Algarve Gardens (this is a bungalow and two 4-storey buildings consisting of apartments with their own kitchen) then met 2 single ladies who bought a 2-week tour (ex + vacation in the Algarve) So they were thrown into the Algarve Gardens hotel for vacation - they ate they are in the restaurant "ALFAMAR BEACH & SPORT RESORT" because it is the same territory, This place is wonderful ...for couples and solitude, no entertainment! Silence, peace, ocean, golf courses .... ) My husband and I enjoyed, and they they were tormented - nowhere to go - 13 km to Albufeira, (to the center by car 20 minutes drive) there are no Russian guides in the hotel ...They were simply brought and left. Their rest was greatly overshadowed, if not spoiled.......The ladies were indignant and were disappointed!!!

2. GREAT complex "ADRIANA BEACH RESORT" - everything would be great! ! ! For children, for adults there is a theater, something every day (parrot show, dating program, disco, carnival performances, etc. - every evening is scheduled with a certain event!!!
Near the reception there is an ATM-multibanko. 3 courts and a basketball-football field with a soft grass surface in free access! ! ! Several restaurants, including a grill restaurant, where all sorts of goodies are cooked on a spit. The rental car is rented directly at the hotel. All conditions for a comfortable stay. The hotel is very beautiful and cozy. The general impression is that the new one (the tiles on the roofs are very light, everything is fresh) is unusually clean. The territory is large, green ...microcars ride. 2 huge pools. The hotel is located on a high beach. ( meters 20-25 m)
I want to note that the descent to the beach along the stairs is quite steep. It may be inconvenient for older people. - An excellent option for a family holiday, for those who are accustomed to comfort in Turkey. and wants to make a change...
There is a bus to Albufeira, shops and party places (it runs frequently and on schedule) - the ticket price is 3.5 euros one way. Agree that the vacation will come running decently.
If you want to taste Portuguese cuisine and cheap, rent a car! - If you leave the tourist trails outside the city for 10 minutes and stop to eat at any roadside cafe ...lunch or dinner for two people will cost 15.5 euros and this is + 1 liter of wine in a jug! If you eat a little, take a portion for 2, ...in Portugal they are sooo impressive!
Going to this unusually beautiful, interesting, very different country ...collect as much information as possible. This place of rest differs from the usual countries for a Russian tourist.

We stayed 10 nights at appart FORT St. Joan(Albufeira) for 225 euros and
7 nights in appart Algarve Garden( Falesia) for 105 euros
FORT Hotel Joan shares the same territory with the MONICA ISABEL Hotel, Stands on the beach in the center of Albufeira. More suitable for adults. A great opportunity to bask on the ocean during the day, and hang out on the disco street in the evening. Very conveniently located between two centers of parties - in the old town and on the "English" street.
