The hotel is located right in Potu Ghalib, opposite the beach there are yachts and catamarans. The port itself is a long bay with bridges. There is no storm at all in the bay, and this allows you to swim in any weather.
We went to the Marsa Mubarak Bay (2.5 km to the south), swam with 2 huge green turtles, watched the living creatures on the northern reef, unfortunately we did not meet the dugong.
We swam with a guide Olya to the Sataya reef to see the dolphins. We were picked up from the hotel, 2 hours were taken south to the port of Hamata, we still sailed 2 hours on the sea.
1. We walked to Braika Bay from the AURORA BAY MARSA ALAM 5 * hotel (2.5 kilometers to the north). The bay is not big, and not very colorful in terms of corals (we saw much brighter), but interesting in its own way.
The shape of the bay resembles a very elongated horseshoe from the road to the open sea. The length of the bay is about 600-700 meters. The corals are multi-level, if the tide is high, it is very convenient to swim over the coral cover.
