This review will soon be a year old, well, it so happened that it didn’t work out right away, and then so many different new trips followed that the Bulgarian September Sozopol has been waiting for a year for a review.
I really liked the streets of old Nessebar, where past and present, archaic and modern are mixed. The only thing that completely spoils the impression of the city is the crowds of tourists, but what can you do - this is the lot of all the places included in the UNESCO heritage.
This is a crowded and noisy sandy beach located between the Old and New Towns in Sozopol. The beach is located in a bay, the water is clean, it is well equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds for 3-4 leva.
Harmani Beach is a sandy beach, wider and longer than Central. However, there is a strong current and there are large coastal waves. But there are fewer people. The beach looks very beautiful in bad weather.
The old town of Sozopol is not as tourist developed as, for example, in Nessebar, but this does not deprive it of its charm. Most of the old buildings are fishermen's houses built in the 19th century.
This wonderful restaurant is located in the old part of the city, at st. Apolonia 46. This is a typical Bulgarian restaurant with Eastern European cuisine. A picturesque interior in an original style, delicious food, a wide selection of dishes on a spit and grill, besides, the staff speaks excellent...
The yacht port in Sozopol is small and neat, just like the city itself. There are no noisy cafes, restaurants, crowds of people and a promenade. Only small yachts moored strictly in a row, small ships standing under repair, the cries of seagulls and, perhaps, jellyfish at the very pier, for some rea...
The fortress walls around the medieval Sozopol are building VI-XIV. In some places, defensive structures 5 meters high have been preserved, and their construction began even before our era.
Organizing a boat trip along the coast is very simple - just come to the yacht port and arrange an excursion on the ship you like right on the spot. We took an individual tour without a guide, although of course you can choose a more civilized version of a group tour.
It is really "in love with the wind", made with great love by its owner, but not medieval, but very modern. It is located a few kilometers from Sozopol, in the village of Ravadinovo, where you can easily take an inexpensive taxi.
The ancient city of Petra can definitely be attributed to one of the wonders of the world. It is so Global, Monumental, Fantastically beautiful and Beautiful - that there are simply no words.
A stop at the Dead Sea is made by all groups that travel to Israel and Jordan. I have long wanted to experience its wonderful properties and now, finally, my dream has come true!
According to legend, this Christian church was built in Bethlehem over the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Here is the greatest Christian shrine - the cave of the Nativity. The birthplace of Christ is marked with a silver star, which is called the Bethlehem star.
This souvenir shop is located in the city of Bethlehem, in Palestine. There is a very large selection of pectoral crosses, Orthodox icons, incense, various candles that have already been consecrated or they can be consecrated in the Church of the Nativity.
The Church of St. Catherine is located next to the Church of the Nativity. This church is Catholic, and it belongs to the monks of the Franciscan order. And it is familiar to us from TV screens - it is here that the ceremony of the Catholic Mass is annually broadcast on all television channels of th...
This place made a special moving impression on me. Getting into the Temple, from the first step you are filled with some special reverence and quivering delight. This feeling did not leave me for a long time after our group left the temple.
