Just a botanical garden.
Despite my ardent love for Tallinn, I have to admit that the Tallinn Botanical Garden is nothing special. This is just a botanical garden with a well-kept landscaped park, a palm house and a greenhouse - a standard set of any standard botanical garden.

The dimensions are impressive.
The ruins of the temple of Birgitta are striking in their size. Once here, I usually think: if the preserved ruins are so monumental, then what did the monastery look like 500 years ago, during its heyday?

Very elegant Orthodox church.
Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in the center of Old Tallinn stands out sharply against the background of its modest northern architecture with its luxurious forms and bright colors.
