I celebrated the New Year for the first time in Moscow as a tenth-grader. I went with a group of peers, had a good excursion program, lived in a modest hotel, but in the historic center of the Soviet capital.

20 years ago, such a boarding house was a dream of a vacation for ordinary Soviet engineers. The bosses went to the Crimea, and the elite went to the South Coast and the Caucasus.

If possible, see Turkey in early spring, when there are no "Soviet" crowds yet. The Scandinavians and our athletes bask in the sun. Get real pleasure from the coming spring and Turkish flavor.
