Apartheid Museum
South Africa, Johannesburg
The Apartheid Museum is located in the southwestern part of the city. It was founded in 2001. The museum tells about the most shameful time in the history of the country, when her whole life was built on the principle of racial discrimination. It contains a large number of photographs and videos of the apartheid period, and details the resistance movement to the regime. A separate exhibition is dedicated to Nelson Mandela.
