Constitution Hill is located in the center of the city. It is both a monument of architecture, culture and history, as well as one of the administrative centers of the capital - it is here that the Constitutional Court of South Africa is located. During the colonial period, the fortified hill served as a defense for the British, and during apartheid there was a prison complex for political prisoners.
