Cham temple towers
Cham Towers, Poshanu Towers, Poshanu
Vietnam, Phan Thiet
The Cham towers are religious buildings of the small Cham people, which are still in operation. From the temple complex built in the 8th century, only three towers remain, but despite the crumbling brickwork, incredibly refined and complex, the temples are open to visitors.
The architectural style of Cham is similar to the Khmer temple style, it is also distinguished by rounded columns and false doors. Every year in the first lunar month at the foot of the towers, colorful festivals of Ridge Nuga and Roh Mbang take place.
