Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach, Cannon Beach, Canon, Cannon, Kenon
USA, Portland
Cannon Beach is a beach and resort town of the same name on the Pacific coast of the United States, 130 km from Portland, the capital of Oregon. This place attracts numerous tourists and photographers with the famous Haystack Rock and mesmerizing sunsets when the sun sets right into the ocean waters. The beach consists of fine and soft white sand. An annual festival of sand sculptures is held here. Haystack Rock, according to the legend of the Chinook Indians, is a place of imprisonment of an evil spirit. In the rock, rising above the sea to a height of 72 meters, there are numerous caves that have become a nesting place for sea birds. At low tide, the rock can be reached on foot.

A few kilometers west of the beach is the Ecola National Park, from the observation deck of which offers a magnificent panoramic view of the city, ocean, beach and rock. For tourists in the Cannon Beach area, there are several dozen hotels, villas and hostels to choose from.

The town of Canon Beach, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. The beach there is cool, but cold. Therefore, it is usually used for walking with dogs. And sometimes they fly like in the photo. There is also a local landmark - a rock not far from the coast, in the shape of a cone, where a bunch of birds nest.
