Manhattan is the historical and economic center of the city, one of the five districts of New York, washed by the Hudson and East Rivers. Manhattan is mainly located on the island of the same name, its area is 58.8 square meters. km. It is connected to other areas by bridges, tunnels and a shuttle ferry. Manhattan has a number of world-famous attractions, including the Empire State Building, Central Park, Times Square, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Hayden Planetarium, Broadway with its famous theaters and many others.
It is also home to the headquarters of the United Nations and two of the world's largest stock exchanges.
