The California Science Center State Museum (formerly the Museum of Science and Industry) in Los Angeles is located in Exposition Park, which is home to many museums and attractions. The Center, founded in 1951, is one of California's premier science museums and includes an interactive Science Museum, a learning center and an IMAX theater.
Permanent expositions are open: "Ecosystems", "World of Life", "Creative World", an aviation and astronautics hall with a telescope and a model of the solar system, with samples of aircraft, incl. space shuttle Endeavor. In addition, thematic exhibitions dedicated to various aspects of human interaction with the environment are regularly held, accompanied by a variety of presentations and shows.
Entrance to permanent exhibitions is free.
