The Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden is located in the south of the city. It was founded in 1938 and covers an area of 34 hectares. More than 4,500 tropical plants grow in the garden - palm trees, orchids, tropical grapes and much more. The pride of the garden are amorphophalluses - giant flowers that bloom for only 1-2 days, which attract thousands of tourists to admire.
