Mount Hoverla

Mount Goverla, Goverla
Carpathians, Zakarpattia
Mount Hoverla is the highest point in Ukraine and a popular tourist attraction. It is located at one of the sources of the Prut River, on the border of the Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Nearby there is a waterfall with a height of about 80 m. From the top of Hoverla, located at an altitude of 2061 meters above sea level, an incredible panoramic view of the Chernogorsky ridge of the Ukrainian Carpathians opens, you can also see several cities of the Ivano-Frankivsk region and even the Romanian city of Sigheta-Marmatiei. Every year, hundreds of tourists from Ukraine and all over the world make a two-three-hour ascent to Hoverla. To do this, there are several routes of several levels of difficulty.

Climbed up the mountain in the summer. It caught the sun, and rain, and enveloped in fog. The nature is incredible, and when you rise to the very top, the feelings overwhelm. I advise everyone to visit there.

I have wanted to go to Hoverla for a long time. I read a lot of information about this area. I did not immediately want to use the services of guides or travel agencies. I planned to climb Hoverla myself, and then continue along the Montenegrin ridge. The weather on the mountain was not the best, it was raining and foggy. I was able to see the scenery only the next day when I got out of the tent near Lake Nesamovite. Then the whole day went to Mount Pip-Ivan, spend the night on the mountain, descent to the village of Dzembronya and another 12 km of road to the bus stop.

Climbing Mount Hoverla with friends. Interesting experience. From the top there are wonderful views of the nearby mountain ranges. Lots of food underfoot. The walk took less than 6 hours. I liked it very much!

We decided to visit Hoverla for a reason, we wanted to do something interesting and unusual for all the tourists of this bewitching place, and here is one guy from our company, who was then 14 years old, said: - I will cook borscht on Hoverla - FIRST! And did it! Then 50 people were treated to borscht, everyone liked it so much. Video report here: https://www. youtube. com/watch? v=93aUOonPd8c

It was before it was calm. On this majestic mountain, everything that happened would not be reflected. As before, the sky would be beautiful, as before, there would be a sea of u200bu200bmushrooms in the forest ....Lyrics Well, now the facts. The climb is not easy. be sure to take warm clothes, even if you go in the summer. The weather can change suddenly and can be really trouble. if you don't get ready. Take her conquest seriously. Hoverla does not forgive frivolity

In fact, I am writing a review only because I do not see photos of such a wonderful peak. And one of the most affordable for the average tourist. Now, with almost horror, I understand that my last winter trip to Hoverla was on the New Year already in 2008/2009, and summer / autumn in 2010. I haven’t been there for six years ... Of course, I managed to see a lot of other mountains, peaks, countries, cities, but it seemed to me that I go there more often)
