Shypit Waterfall

Waterfall Shipit, Whisper, Whisper
Carpathians, Pilipec
Shypit Waterfall is one of the most picturesque and famous places in Transcarpathia. It is located in the Mezhhirya region, not far from the village of Pylypets and the chair ski lift. The waterfall is 14 meters high and has several cascades through which crystal clear water falls. He got his speaking name thanks to the loud "whisper" of water, heard from afar.

Every year, next to the Shipit waterfall, a festival of subcultures is held, as well as the traditional celebration of Ivan Kupala Day.

The waterfall is the most beautiful in appearance from afar, the nature around is beautiful. That's actually all the pluses. On the way to the waterfall there are too many tents with food on the grills - the smoke is not enough to breathe. Smoke spreads below the parking lot, which is not passable, although it is huge, and above the waterfall itself. The roads to the waterfall are extremely narrow. All food is disgusting, drinking is shmurdyak. And in general, I have never managed to eat properly in Transcarpathia.

The Shipot waterfall attracts many tourists in the summer, but in winter it is especially beautiful, if you like skiing and want to combine it with visiting interesting sights, then feel free to go to Pylypets, Transcarpathian region. Here the ski resort is several times cheaper than Bukovel, and you can also enjoy the incredible beauty of the winter waterfall. It's better to see once than to take my word for it))), so I suggest watching the video. https://www. youtube. com/watch? v=8ShzOP-iFQs&t=3s.

Excursions are offered to the Shipit waterfall from many cities of Ukraine and all resorts without exception. No matter how many kilometers you have to overcome, Shipot is worth looking at. The waterfall is located in a very picturesque place, near the ski resort. This year we tried a very budget option: -by train to Volovets -by bus to Pylypets - a couple more kilometers on foot ...and here it is! real pleasure!

The waterfall is one of the most beautiful in all the Carpathians. True, getting there is not very convenient - the road is completely broken. Hiking trips can bring you to Podobovets or Pylypets, and there 6 km on foot through the mountains. We walked - okay. For entrance 10 UAH. Were in the morning - very few people, quiet, calm, even the market has not yet decomposed. Please note that on July 6-7, at Ivan Kupala, there is a hippie festival. In addition, the waterfall is an obligatory point in the hiking route along the Borzhava meadow, so various unshaven personalities pitch tents there at night : ).
