The Transcarpathian Drama Theater is located in the southwestern part of Mukachevo. It was founded in 1902 in the city of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, and moved to Mukachevo in 1947. The theater's repertoire includes both staging of classical Russian and world works, as well as modern ones. The theater is famous for its troupe, which is known far beyond the borders of its country.
