Yuntur waterfall
Carpathians, Mukachevo
Yuntur is an abbreviation for Young Tourist. The waterfall is located 12 km from the village of Turya Polyana, in the Transcarpathian region. It was discovered by tourists in the 1970s. This is one of the most inaccessible waterfalls in Ukraine. But it is incredibly picturesque, both in summer and in winter. The steep part of Yuntur is 8 m high, then the water falls in cascades for another 20 m. True, it is not easy to find a waterfall - there are sheer cliffs and windbreaks around. Yuntur is located on the second stream after another well-known waterfall in the area - Voevodin. From a barely visible path, neither the stream nor the waterfall is visible. Landmarks - a huge stone and a sharply increased noise of water.
