The sculptural composition dedicated to the flood of 1998 was opened in 2010 on the embankment of Latoritsa. The monument is made of bronze and represents a woman-angel holding a child in her arms, protecting him from the elements. Ivan Brovdi became the artist and sculptor of the project. The bronze sculpture is about 2.30 m high and weighs 1.2 tons.
