Recently, during a tour of Transcarpathia, I visited the Church of St. Martin, located in the heart of Mukachevo. An excellent example of neo-Gothic architecture. Impressive iconostasis. It is very difficult to assess the appearance from the side in the future, because the church is hidden in the greenery of a small but dense park. A very high and steep spire can be seen from afar. The highlight is the ancient truly Gothic chapel of St. Joseph, located in the courtyard of the church to the left of the entrance. It is a remnant of the old church and a monument of true Gothic with a tower, buttresses and pointed windows. This chapel is unique for Ukraine - there are no analogues.
I advise you to visit everyone who will be in Mukachevo. We were very lucky - we were on Sunday afternoon during the service, when both the church and the chapel were opened.
